You know what scares me more than a giant tumbleweed? The thought of being rear ended at high speed becasue i was afraid to drive through a brittle little bush that wouldn't so much as scrape the paint off of my bumper...pull your heads out of you ass america...a tumblweed is no reason to slow down that much on highway 101. Tumbleweeds aren't a road hazard, but slowing to a crawl in the middle of a highway becasue of one is a hazard.
tumbleweeds are dangerous, but even more dangerous are the all the STUPID FUCKING PEOPLE in Salinas. Salinas is literally one of the most stupid towns in the state....don't take my word for it, look at the dropout and education attainment statistics.
These look like an old herd of tumbleweed. I imagine they broke off from the original herd in search of food and somewhere to roam. I have known instances of full grown cows being eaten by these creatures and tumblepoo being found with complete cow skeletons inside. One was even found with a Dakota cargo aircraft inside of it, with parcels dating back 45 years. Although wild, they can be domesticated and used as brooms. :o)
And I thought they'd be bigger in Texas...
