  • is there only 3 moves in this game or ?

    Shield Slam/bash

    hit after kneecap

    same combo hits.

  • Ok guys first of all Achilles was blonde, so no Hollywood was accurate, and second neither of them had those big ass swords about it, and lastly Hector killed Achilles's cousin so he killed hector and then Hectors brother killed achilles, Paris, and whoever says it was Apollo who killed Achilles come on, I'm talking about real life not some fake ass myth that would have been accepted by ancient greeks

  • FUCK U ACHILLES GRRR

  • fucking achilles

  • nah the movie version was better...

  • what is up with the huge freicking swords

  • I kinda want to play as hector to kill achilles.

  • How is the battle in this game? Fun, boring?

  • @JuliusCezarus great never stop action this guy he never buy a thing there items the health bar can be much large and its pretty long

  • It's like a movie...

  • @StarScreamVIII i have some qeustions about this game,

is it a big game (how much hours?)

Is it actually 'cool' like, fighting with sword and shield, take ur bow when ever you want.

or is it only fighting? how is the gameplay?

    graphics? Good for ps3?

that were my qeustions :P thanks for responding :)

  • hector had been fighting day after day while achilles rested... this could have been a factor.....stamina was the only thing that one for achilles

  • what a piece of shit who said that Achilles was blond !!! this is the problem with Hollywood every great legend they turn it into a commercial piece of shit. Greeks are brown not blond and they dont speak like if they were gentlement of the victorian era !!! I prefer the film 300 rather than troy, at least is more into the comic style while Troy is for chicks !!

  • @TheDaxindex You're right. Dark hair and olive-skin are the norm in Mediterranean Greece. Blondes were very rare and highly prized and looked upon in ancient times. Hollywood fucks up with great epic myths TOO much! For example, I bet if the COTT remake or 'Immortals" stuck more to the real myth than they would've gotten better reviews!

  • this guys is a pro lol! hector barely didnt even hit him

  • eles te que criar o jogo furia de titas...

  • hector should have won

  • This Game Made Achilles a ASSHOLE But I Still Luv Em

  • @christopwebster Achilles has always been an asshole. Even homer makes him out a ass. Thats why hector is the face of the jack of spades, one of the nine worthies and achilles is not. I still love Achilles, but Hector i think is better. achilles fought for glory, hector fought for his people. Achilles revelled in war, hector hated it. end of story

  • 5:05 chill out dude you've already been sleeping with his cousin

  • Should've cut his feet off...that'll kill him

  • brad pitt

  • hector should won in the film man!!!

  • @StarScreamVIII

do you know if this game have a PS2 version?

  • This has to be one of the best games that came out but it's still unknown.I don't think I even saw a commercial of this.

  • FUS RO DA!!

  • In war nothing is honorable!

  • In the 'Iliad' Athena decieved Hector in the fight he had with Achilles. She gave him a fake spear of air. The game should've gave the olympians a larger role i think. It would've been more true to the game and cool as well!

  • 0:37 i was about to cry from the cuteness of the scene, then my asshole brother breached the door saying "dinner come!"

  • glory a hector

    death a achille

    achille you are bastard

  • Why the hell is the swords so big...?

  • this game looks epic, loved the movie to

  • Hector was the only honorable man in a vain and stupid city, he always knew he was going to die. Achilles was the perfect warrior but all he possessed would die for everyone to know that.

  • sheild bashing is highly annoying in the game.

  • so dies one of the few admiable charachters in the iliad.

  • @defenderofmacragge He was the only one who didn't blame Helen for the war and at his funeral, Helen claimed he was the only friend in Troy. He was a noble, yet hot-headed, man.

  • they are fighting with their shield almost all the time.

  • This game was not made to cater movie fanboys. But I do agree that the voice acting isn't ideal. I think I'll be getting the Japanese version, even if it means that I have to pay about twice as much.

  • This game is retarded.

  • @244547 It could've been better had there been other characters to choose from like Menelaus, Priam, Agamemnon, Glaucus etc. The Olympians could've had a larger war plus landscapes could've been different. The graphics are amazing though.

  • wtf achilles wasn't a savage that shit at the end is retarded

  • @S2th1 And you were his best friend to know that

  • @StoyanBG i wish i would have been his best friend haha :))

  • @S2th1 Read some Greek mythology and you will see that this portrait is acceptable... Achilles furry towards Hector was unmeasurable for killing Patroclus...

  • @S2th1 did you read the iliad? adter he killed hector he did alot worse then that

  • @S2th1 Achilles wasnt savage? Who did told you this shit? lol. He was really much savage, and deserved death, that he got from Paris.

  • @TheXWitcher Yeah right.

  • @TheXWitcher maybe he didn't read the Iliad :d

  • @TheXWitcher he didnt got the death from paris inform your self not from movies..if u realy wanna talk about it..and paris didnt make it either..almost 90% of the most imp people in the story died in the to story iliada or odisea ..who didnt die from war died after in strange ways or killed..only a few survieved menelau who in the movie is killed by hector survieves..and ulise aka odiseu..the guy who wants achilles in the war becouse he was one of the best or the very best warior

  • @adirockboy wtf, I heard Paris killed him not like in movie. But in some battle. And hit him with bow to his feet sinew.

  • @TheXWitcher From Apollo.

  • @TheXWitcher Oh yes? And who told YOU that? He didn't die because he deserved it..He died because it was ment be so.After his mother's words who was known as a Goddess, Achilles could either stay to Phtia and die old or go to troy and die young but with a lot of glory, honour (things that were the most significant that days) and fame after his name..

  • @HortoMagiko1966 yes, other words he deserved it anyway. SO what you want say me.

  • @TheXWitcher Yeah with an arrow from behind cause that was Paris, a fucking gay

  • @TheAssasinJohn Paris was not gay. He was better fighter than Hector.

  • What happened to draging his body around troy till he had no eyes to walk through Hades?

  • oh my fucking dayz... it's a shitty game...

  • i must say he killed him whitout honor so this is the first game were erm u play the... bad person?

  • Shieldbash spamming isnt good but looks perfect and i think that Ahcilles looks epic with long hair :D

  • This video must be fake They dont look like Eric Bana or Brad Pitt

  • This game was more true to the Myths and Illiad than the movie Troy, infact outside of some changes here or there, its real close. Troy was just Ugh. Troy did have its good points, but the bad out way the good here. Legends of Troy has its flaws, BUT I give the fun factor a ten, I really loved the scene before the fight with Achilles and Hector.

  • @greek1237 "Troy" could've followed the myth more I agree. I now think it would've been better had it been a tv series, that way the whole story could've been told. This game follows the myth more and less a little too, yet it looks amazing!

  • This is a cheap rip off of Troy with Brad Pitt and Eric Bana. The Illiad told a different story.

  • @NendGuy you are saying the move troy was accurate to the Illiad and the myths?

  • @NendGuy The movie and this game would've been better had they stuck to the real story. I don't have problems with poetic license, but when it's over done, it fucks a good mythic story up really.

  • man this game has been voiced by some really bad actors it ruins the whole story

  • @sroRAGE I think the voice actors are ok, but they could've gotten better ones. I think Matthew mercer should've voiced Hector and Rino Romano should've voiced Achilles.

  • I though the game was good, but once you unlock everything it kinda of loses something outside of story mode. Still I loved it.

  • fala serio o filme troia já existe fás tempo e o jogo veio sair agora... >:(

  • Ign rating... 6.. This game is not going to be worth playing or buying.. at ALL

  • @zargarfruuu ign stand for ignorant, so how bout you try the game other than watch ign bull sht review

  • @zargarfruuu Unless it's CoD, Ign won't rate anything good. This game is great. Rather then following a review by something known for giving bad reviews for great games, actually try it.

  • after watching the movie I really want hector to win

  • @mikebart70 After watching the movie I want them to make an accurate version of it.

  • @GamingHawke I know what you mean. a lot of people says the same.

  • Can you choose between characters?

Like if you want to beat achilles you can fight with hector.

  • @MultiEnzinho no it follow the story

  • what a lame ripoff of the movie....

  • @savps3 dumb dumb the movie is about 20% accutate

  • Comparing this to good player vs player fights in Bushido Blade 2 it looks slow and simple.

Video games are devolving for mass audiences.

  • epic fight

would have been cooler if they did the fight in front of the troy.

  • @bibipbi I agree plus that would've been accurate and they could've shown Achilles drag Hector's corpse away behind his chariot! This game could've been much better but it still looks cool though.

  • can i get this for ps3

  • it is PS 2 or 3 or PC?

  • Is there any other games like this? Other than God of War?

  • @ZenMarvel Spartan: Total Warrior

  • @that was a fucking awsome game

  • @ZenMarvel Check out 'Rise of the Argonauts' it's a re-teeling of the myth of Jason's quest for the Golden Fleece but it looks amazing!

  • WAT IS GAME ?

  • c quoi le jeux svp ??

  • it's possible to play with Achilles' golden armor and Hektor with Achilles' old armor in the challenges?

  • Comment removed

  • @1516162aa maybe cause thats the story of what happened during the trojan war?

  • @TheOneTrueSaiyan well that's what hollywood says that happened... there's actually a book called the Iliad... FYI

  • @azlath No shit. I read the illiad. I also read the oddysey. Both great stories but the illiad is longer than it has to be.

  • @TheOneTrueSaiyan I agree with you 100 % I LOVED both of Homer's epics. The 'Iliad' is longer. I think 'Troy' should've been a series, not a movie, cause then the whole true story could've been told, though it would be on a BIG budget.

  • @azlath I HATE how Hollywood fucks up these great epic myths! If I were writing a screenplay based off one i would stick to the true story. Not saying poetic license is bad, but it shouldn't be used TOO much! Hollywood hardly has any considerate just bones in its whole body!

  • @HistoryLover1550 I agree! And poetic license is good, the problem is PRODUCER LICENSE, they change everything because that way (they think) the movie will sell better. The problem is the wrong motivation, they care about their wallet, not about art or history. I'm not saying they shouldn't have profits, but a CLASSIC is a classic because it's well done, not because it made millions of dlls... and If you want to change a 3 thousand years old classic (aprox.) you should think it more than twice.

  • @azlath I couldn't agree with you more! Producers should consider the thoughts of those who've actually love mythology and history. People want to see classic stories like this done JUSTICE! They should also think about the feelings of the people whose culture they're portraying on film. I know '300' upset a lot of Iranian people for how it portrayed the Persians. Hollywood needs to get some real integrity and brains!

  • @HistoryLover1550 Hollywood only cares about money, the masses would want to see the Spartans fight in phalanx formation and not breaking off in combat. Nor do they want to see the elite guard of Xerxes to be men with apple shields, spears, and bows they want lizard men. Sad but true with the masses in historical movies.

  • @Liquidsback I know '300' upset many people. I was disappointed with the historical iaccuracies of it myself. The 'Clash of the Titans' remake was a disappointment to me too. I bet if it had stuck more to the myth that it would've gotten better reviews. Hollywood is really giving itself a bad name with how it tells great epic myths/ historical tales. Real History/mythology lovers want to see a GOOD movie that does justice to the subject, not shitty productions nowadays. It is sad.

  • Let there be some shield slap ffs!

  • Bleh... I don't like the fight... but not bad for a videogame, I guess.

  • This is on pc?

  • the game is telling the true story even tho the whole thing is made up it is the movie that re edit things

  • This game is so inaccurate but still sick looking. Achilles hooks hector to his chariot and drags him around troy 3 times.

  • @MrAlienChaos IKR! The game creators should've stuck with that fact. Even though this game does deviate from the myth, I want to get it myself.

  • Motor of Rise of Argonauts

  • dull

  • this game seems epic !

  • @zozo3ala Yeah, seems. But in fact it's one of the dullest I've ever made the mistake to buy. But agreed - nice done cutscenes, and the narrative thanks gods more taking from the Iliad itself than the movie ...

  • @SmallEarthling I agree the cutscenes were cool, plus the narrator's voice and the graphics. I think some of the voice actors could've been better cast, more characters available to choose from, the game could've stuck to the story more. This game does look cool though.

  • @zozo3ala

    No, it doesn't!

  • So dies the madman who thought he killed Achilles!

  • not a god ending

  • Is this available in PC format?

  • the ending was fucked up

  • a stamina bar would work well in this game to stop the shieldbash spamming

  • @samsonworst in real world u can do that multiple times..so its better this way

  • @samsonworst looks like its a form of parrying

  • Where is the big army ????

  • never seen a kopis that big!

  • This game looks really boring- I see one move in particular used many times whenever the chance shows itself. You use your shield to parry and get their guard thrown astray and then you slash. Its pretty much the same gameplayer for both Achilles and Hector, and its all the same move that is used repetitively. Seems like the majority of this game is just slash and hack. With rage being the other frequently relied on and abused move. I will not buy this.

  • @TheUpperClan So it's still just Dynasty Warriors?

  • @desu38 Yep.

  • Good fight StarScream. That must have been fun.

  • everybody if u want this gaME U CAN BUY ONE OFF EBAY FOR 20 BUCKS US ONLY

  • Watching greek histroy in english is like going down on your cousin...it is the same...but its wrong!

  • @Kwordmaster especially in the british accent lol i still don't understand that. I mean no disrespect to british people but it makes no sense for Romans and greeks speak with that accent.

  • @classicblue goddamnit yes!

  • This game looks terrible.. They should make a Trojan war mod for Mount & Blade

  • C'mon Hector get better aim.

  • Was it really neccesary for them to have Achilles chop the hell out of him when he was already dead?

  • @TidusGW360 Yea since he said he would do that. Also I've always found achilles to be a prick in the movies and he also is like that in the game...

  • @ElmerAwesome well, the greeks thought of war in two ways, blood lust and tactics. In many Greek stories, the ruthless characters are portrayed as whiny, emotional, and immature. In the Iliad, Homer portrays not only Achilles but also Ares and Diomedes to be pricks, for lack of a better word.

  • @antebellumraus3 So their actually unstable madmen?

  • @MrRemcoremco Idk about "madmen" but more like babies. Ever see a toddler throw a tantrum? That's usually what it feels like when someone like Achilles is mentioned in an epic

  • @TidusGW360 In those times decimating an enemies body was how warriors got revenge or sent a conquering message to the adversary's people and land. I think that's why they showed Achilles doing that in the game.

  • Foresakened, knowng he was about to die... he stood and fought to the end.

  • Upon seeing the Achillies he ran (knowing he was the better fighter)... after running around the walls of the city, he eventually conquered his fear and turned to fight him. This fear all but vanished as Hector's brother Deiphobus appeared (who was Athena in disguise)... appearhently to aid him. He threw his spear at Achilles, but when he asked his brother for another spear, he vanished.

  • the end just killed me.. poor Achilles he suffered a lot, anyway that what his mane means, suffering

  • Hector is noble in TODAYS films cos he defend his nation, something valuable in this time, in ancient time Achiles was the best and he is still the best

He got to change his personality and became a better man, Hector RUNNED AWAY when he had to fight, yeah the brave Hector is not so brave

people that read the Iliad know this

ps I love both Achilles and Hector but please, don't compare them coz Achilles is the better man

  • @Runnerrmejor his son was a right piece of shit though

  • Greeks were noble -.- they treat the dead with respect.!

  • @alexthehistorian not all

  • no better den KRATOS!! LMAOO jp

  • Hector was honorable!!! I liked the Trojans better than the greeks

  • @LouisianimalCTB hector is shown honorable because he was a trojan.Trojan are said to be the ancestors of Romans. Both English,German,Italian and north American societies hold Rome in a high place.Overestimated if you ask me.After that inaccurate troy movie of wolfgang petersen, where they killed menelaus infront of troy's walls,oh the hubris, everyone thinks hector was actually a good guy and achilles was a villain.how convinient...

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 I say Hector was honorable becuz he fought for his home and he would protect it no matter what. He was the greatest of all Trojans. I spent a lot of my free time looking up stuff about the Trojan War and Illiad. History is my thing. I know the movie Troy was inaccurate but I like it and I think Eric Bana made a good Hector. I know Hector ran from Achilles. And last I checked Hector was one of the Nine Worthies. Hector fought for Troy. Achilles fought for himself.

  • @LouisianimalCTB yes but all that is based on the movie.History is my thing as well,i am a history teacher.According to the Iliad Achilles was the honourable one because firstly,he sailed there even though he already knew he was going to die there.Secondly,he fought for his friend not for himself thats why he made this world personal.like i stated earlier hector stripped naked Patroclus's body and took the armor as a prize. I dont want to start a debate with you im just expressing my opinion

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 Don't get me wrong I don't want to start a debate either. Achilles was a pretty cool dude. Even in the movie he seemed honorable. People just don't no about the Illaid and watched the movie and made him the villain becuz he killed Hector. Hector is one of the most noble heros in the Illaid. Hector was bold, brave, peace loving, and a good person. He was a great son, husband, and would of been a great father. Its funny that we arguing who is better Hector or Achilles.

  • @LouisianimalCTB dont worry we are not arguing man.i know they were both men of honour.that both had their share of dishonourable moments too, as all men do.Achilles was a troubled yet fearless warrior,decisive in victory,knew that arrogance was the price to pay for these virtues,instilled fear but had a high sence of duty and finally a true friend.i admire them both.and i totally agree people just watch movies they dont read the books..peace V '_;

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 hardout. the movie troy was terrible. sooooo historically inacurate

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 hardout. the movie troy was terrible. sooooo historically inacurate

  • @juzdamkrazy1 i know man.sad but true.Wolfgang petersen is a german.wtf does he know?

  • @juzdamkrazy1 not histoical, its fictional

  • @darkbrother11 wrong. the city was real and as for the trojan war, we will never really know if it occured. but they could of kept to the book atleast

  • @juzdamkrazy1 no, there have been aproximately 5 citys found on the supposed spot where troy lay, the original dating back to the actual time the illiad is set could only house up to 5000 people, the lines between reality and myth have been blurred to much with the trojan war for us to really ever no any of it has historical fact, and considering that the illiad was the first book to be written after the greek alphabet was created its highly unlikely they had any books which doesnt help really

  • @juzdamkrazy1 no im right, u are wrong, the have been mutliple cities found where tory supposedly lay, this game is based on parts of the film and parts of the book

  • @darkbrother11 Its historical with Homer presenting layers of myth around solid facts to make his work more epic, thats why its a masterpiece and thats why Homer is so special. You can find similarities in various works taken from Homer in many others like Shakespeare for instance. The foundation of the city have been found by Slimann. You can read more about hi son too before jumping to conclusions.

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 the places, cities and war amy have some realisim to it, but homer changes a lot to the illiad as he does to the Odyssey to, bare in mind this was almost 3000 years ago, im not jumping to any conclusions im a classicist, i do no a fair bit of wat im talking about

  • @darkbrother11 you can always read more about it.Try Euripides. There are many truths as well.I am a historian so i know a thing or two.Like i said even things that sound nonsence have purposly hidden meanings about life in Homer.Like Helen of Sparta sparked a war so could for instance the first lady of u.s or the queen of England if she was kidnapped.

  • @ArchEnemyNemesis1 ur telling me a historian is going to call himself archenemynemesis? lol how do i no ur not just saying that to boost the point ur making, we've gone a bit off subject here, the trojan war, the city of tory possibly true, a war between greeks and trojans and their allies, also possible but the characters and events in the illiad cannot be relied upon for historical backing, ot
