To be fair, the demon sorcerers had it easy compared to what Shendu's been through. They've been trapped in another realm, while he's been stuck as a statue for over nine centuries (must be really boring just "sitting" around with nothing to do). Plus, none of them ever got blown up. Shendu's a spirit, and they're complaining?
