  • @LyndenLegault Yep, thanks.

  • well i know Z is not pronounced as s either lol.

  • U should do numbers again but faster

  • It's cero; there is a rule by wich you can't use z with e and i, some exceptions ofc, like enzima

  • hey, im not really that brilliant in spanish but how is that possible that he pronounces 's' when there probably should be a typical 'th' like in for example 'doce'?

  • @dtransmiss because the pronunciation you mention is not typical. it is only used in spain. please watch my video series on pronouncing consonants.

  • @dtransmiss ur an idiot

  • fucked up with this video.

  • 0 no zero is cero with C!!!

  • @twilightevans its, ¨muchas gracias¨ XD

  • i luv your vidz professor

    i hope someone understands me

if there's any Spanish that could help me please tell me so i could give my email i really want to learn

  • Hola Professor Jason, Thank you for all of your videos. I'm trying to test out of high school spanish 2 part A and part B. I was goign through the book and i saw that numbers change genders and match the nouns they go with. I saw that that is not in your video, do you have that in another place hiding somewhere or do you not teach it or do you not think that the book is right

    Gracias

  • this sucks assssssssssssssssss

  • most of yr vids are well structured but this one has too much info for one lesson. break it down into smaller chunks and do more extension and revision to allow for learning time. normally yr detailed and clear. value yr vids.

also recommend that you listen to spanish songs with their lyrics, good luck!!!

  • thanks/

  • you are right

  • The "C" of Cinco (5) or the "Z" of Diez (10) pronunciation is not S, is like "TH" in the english word: "teeth".

Anyway if you pronounce it S is not bad at all because in south america and mexico they speak like that.

  • i don't know why people rate you bad, because you are right.

  • Thank you this has helped me alot... I wil post this for my classmates.

  • hehe is ok but the pronunciation is like south america in Z and CE terminations, but otherwise is a really good pronunciation

  • Hehe Thanks for this video, Im learning spanish so this really helped me.Now I can count to one hundred in spanish! lol BreyerGirlGlory- the AE team

  • THANKKS MAYTEE UM BRILL ;)

  • Hey you know how he says you pronounce some of the words with a 's' sound at the end? You don't That's like in English going ones twos threes so on :) Otherwise this is pretty good./

    Or

  • uno dos tres cuatro u made me a great spanish speaker in numbers

  • thank you so much! those lessons are really helpful :)

  • Thank you for your preparing these lessons. You are very kind

  • THANK YOU :DD

  • 1 billion is also 1 "billón" in spanish! :D

  • thank you thank you~~

you help me pass my spanish quiz on spanish numbers !! :))

  • You have 0 and zero underneath instead of cero

  • good, but is como te llamas xD

  • bad numbering...

  • lol

  • i love this

  • Isn't 0 actually "cero" and not "zero"?

  • Yes. You see... The Z transforms to C when it is next to an E or an I.

    :)

    Hope you understood, lol.

  • it's 'cero'

  • guyit th

    :(

  • Thank you very much for these lessons. I think there is a little mistake on number 21:

    Correct: VEINTIUNO, not vientiuno

  • I wonder why he said: check out the spelling, if the spelling is wrong. lol

  • haha, our spanish class just could not get round this one.

  • if u want 2 learn some more spanish go to my profile

im a natural born spanish speaker

  • buena pronunciación amigo ;)

  • Dear Prof, I really appreciate you so much. I am taking Spanish class in Korea and my teacher goes so fast and I can't catch him. Fortunately, I have you clips it is so helpful.. Actually, I am student from Laos and it is only me taking Spanish. Please spread out Spanish in Laos.

  • very good spanish

  • Jason,

Though I know the basic's of counting, I'd probably need each number pronounced, as I want to be able to practice & remember each detail.

    (?)Detailed Lesson Please(?).

  • I really like it but you be going to fast!

  • Awesome

  • Thank You Professor Jason.

I bought the Rosetta Stone series on Latin America Spanish. According to the DVD's I'm supposed to immerse myself in the language and learn the way I learned English. I'm still having a huge difficulty with it. Your 'survival phrases' and this video on numbers has been immensely helpful. I'll listen and take notes on the rest of your videos. Thanks so very much. Your voice is so pleasant!! Thanks again.

  • WOW Jason really dissed that foxracingx55 guy.

    niice!!

  • The hundred's are written with sc, like doSCientos, trescientos. :) just a little mistake

  • you spelt some of them wrong check your speling!!!

  • True, but I think we should BOTH check our "speling" OK, amigo? :)

  • @languagenow haha it is funny this comment ,Not! or Yes it is:P (dizzy)XD

  • tap ''5'' few times

proffesor jason ur a sneaky perv professor

  • @Foxracingx55 realmente no veo ninguna equivocacion en la ortografia, solo el "zero" que se escribe "cero" pero no hay otro error orotgrafico, si hay uno por favor dime y lo compruebo :D Really there is no wrong spelling, only de zero that must be cero, but there is no another error, if there is another one please let me know and i will check :3... By the way teacher, good pronunciation and excelent tutorial :D

  • PS: Jason, your pronunciation is great. Flawless erre. You might want to watch your "Oes" (O's): there's a slight tendency to make it a diphthong (as you would in English), so keep in mind this is a Pure Vowel. The lip rounding stays the same all throughout so as not to turn it into an "U" (Spanish U, that is)

  • yeap, there's a C in "cero"

as to Rocotet's comment, I should say that Spaniards are among the most merciless butchers of their own language. Ceceo (i.e., the dental fricative pronunciation of C's and Z's) might indeed be TRADITIONAL Spanish and helpful at the time of spelling, perhaps--if you learn the rules--but by no means is it Español "PURO"

I didn't know the stats as to what percentage of speakers use seseo (pronouncing S for C's, S's and Z's indistinctively), so that's pretty cool

  • uhhhhh... Isn't 0 spelled cero? That's what my spanish teacher told me.... but still, you videos are awsome =)

  • Thanks man you really helped me

thanks for the extremely helpful videos :D

  • Thank you so much for helping me for my spanish lessions I am taking spanish one this year and I needed help for the numbers and this helped me very much thank you.

  • thanks for helping me study for my spanish test tommorrow on numbers days of the week and months of the year

  • quando es tu cumpleanos?

  • Hola amigo!

Pregúntale a cualquier latinoamericano...

  • @hellomycating Yes asked him the same, as he said cinco how its spelt, instead of think-co how it's said, with a slight lisp.. th = c in main land spain.

Saludos, amigo.

  • @languagenow saludos y buen videoblog

  • Aw damn I'm gonna get these mixed up with my French xD

  • Gracias! You are extremely helpful. :)

  • You're really a good teacher ... MUCHO GUSTO SENIOR

  • thanks a lot for your very helpful videos!

  • ES MUYYYYYYYYYYYY BIEN!!!!

  • I am so happy to see that you wrote the numbers correctly!

Some Spanish teachers in the USA teach "Veinte y uno" "Veinte y dos"...etc.

As a Spanish teacher, I try to correct these mistakes in the courses or books. I am using your videos to help my English speakers who are taking my Spanish class to practice. Great help =D Thanks!

  • you are such a patient teacher! this is great. Mucho Gracias!

  • Thank you very much, thanks in un millon.

You are a great teacher sir.
