Is there anywhere you would reccomend to get the music for this? prefrably for Alto Saxaphone as a solo, but if the music is originally an esemble piece I dont mind, I`d really love to play this for our School`s Jazz night, I`ve always loved the song and the video of you playing it is incredible! if anyone could tell me soon as possible that would be great thank you :)

@Hayley1548 Just check the websites of the major music publishers. One of them is bound to have an arrangement. If it's not written as a solo (which it won't be), just look in the conductor's score for which instruments play the melody and transcribe it for your Alto.

I used to play a curved soprano in the 70s, never as well as this guy. It has hard to hold in tune between registers. It was a Borgani and the crowd liked it when I pulled it out. The singer would say,"That is not a toy, ladies and gentlemen, that is a dangerous weapon." Nobody had ever seen one before, but that was in blues clubs in Southern IL around Alton, Edwardsville, East St. Louis. I traded it in for a Bari. Best trade I ever made. Sopranos are too sweet for blues. These guys sound great.

@WeWereMeantToBe94 It's a soprano sax as well. I assume you probably play a straight soprano saxophone? They also sell curved soprano saxes, but straight ones are more commonly used. =)

@RonMailbox No, it's a bass sax. If you look up "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" by the Toon Town Tuners, you will see that the instrument closest to the camera in that video is a Bari sax. Then you will see the difference.

It's a curved soprano sax to be specific actually. They are most commonly straight like a clarinet but they also make them slightly curved and fully curved like the one he is playing.
