They will realize only once they are in the mouth of hell fire and by then too late. Bad bye to the souls unredeemed for their fate is sealed for eternal destruction.
But the thing is what was the tree ? the tree of good and evil and the fact is this story is true to mankind of all religions we all have a sin nature
