1. Many MANY voice actresses have played boys.

2. Miley is a great actress, CAN sing (though you may have your own opinions and don't like her voice, but that doesn't mean she sucks), and she did a fantastic job on this role, a way to tell if someones a good actress is if you can't even tell if it's them. It took me a while to realise it was her, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm pretty good at picking out voices in characters.
