Kadaj is manifested a few years after this, when Sephiroth is defeated by Cloud and the gang in the original FFVII. This game happens years before Advent Children.
1st: He just looks like Gackt. His character isn't at all based on what Gackt acts like. Tidus's look is also based on a someone's look, and Squall's outfit is based off a Gackt costume.

Weiss is calling Genesis his brother because each of the colored Tsviet's were given a unique factor that is found in Genesis' genes. They share genetic in formation, and so they are "brothers."

Deepground is supposedly higher up in the Ranks than SOLDIER. Uhm, they were sort of Top Secret though, since experiments were being done with them and injured SOLDIERS.
If you look closely both Nero and Weiss are wearing SOLDIER first uniforms. Deepground is more or less a private army with its own goals that has nothing 2 do with Shinra
Originally it was connected with Shinra. Deepground... Shinra wanted a more powerful SOLDIER so they created it. However the Tsviets rose up against the original leaders of the Deepground Unit and took control of it themselves therefor liberating Deepground from Shinra.
Once all the first class SOLDIERS died or dissapeared: Sephiroth,Angeal,Genesis and Zack
ShinRa wanted replacements therefore Deep Ground. And Sephiroth and possibly Genesis still holds the throne as the most powerful char in the ff7 universe
Nomura has said that Sephiroth is the most powerful character in the FF7 universe and Weiss is only that fast when he's inside omega wepon batteling Chaos plus in AC Sephiroth is only at a 1/3 of his real power, and is toying with Cloud.
@WhiteDevil46 yes he did say that, and the only reason Cloud beats him is becuase Sephy underestimates him. Zack on the other hand Sepiroth had to go all out to beat him. it even says in CC missions Hojo's lab.

Don't get me wrong Cloud is my favorit characters its just when it comes to sephiroth he just can't win. Idk what the fight was between them in ff7, but in Ac sephiroth was only at 1/3 of his true power and he still seem like he was just messing around with cloud.. Cloud seem to be having a tough time with kadosh plus kadosh was distracted the whole time trying to protect jeanova.

@EndreVanan Obviously a lot. That's because Square Enix announced that after they complete the FFXIII Compliation and Kingdom Hearts 3 they are going to continue the FFVII Compilation. They said it's far from finished, they estimate that it will double in size. Meaning another 5 or so games and they predict another movie as well. So this just shows that there is so much to tell, both from the past and future in the story. It can be pointless to guess, we just have to wait and see.
@valypaly3 I hope after the FFVII story they continue FFIX, some plp from the team of square stated that they wanted to make a sequel(and I hope more) of FFIX more than any other game
@TheNewBerser I agree, after the finish or when they have time once again that they continue FFIX, and yeah I heard that also. VII seems to be what they'd like to finish first after they finish the other big projects they started, but IX is deffinitly another priority. I really hope they do at least. I've heard some people say that they should continue X also, but at least it got a sequel, IX and many others didn't and deserve one. X-2 pretty much seemed to end story wise I think
@valypaly3 X is quite a case closed, it would be pointless to continue it. IX just like VII left a half closed ending, because both left lot of ideas to continue the story. For example lot of plp were like "Wow, what?" when AC and DoC came out to continue the story, and more when crisis core came out. For example in IX, we still not knowing if Kuja stills alive or not, and if he is alive what will he do with his life. Also Kuja is a nice char to take the role of main char in a prequel.
@TheNewBerser I agree, and X is a case close and I'm going to assume that XIII will be after XIII-2 and Versus XIII. With VII, especially after I beat CC I found myself asking even more questions than before, same with DoC a bit and that ACC ending gets you thinking. I agree with what you said about IX too, well SE will have their hands full I'm sure. I think if they continue either or both it would be an almost guarnteed success, rather than starting a new project right away again
@WhiteDevil46 sephiroth was the most powerful for a long time yes, and your correct in saying that weiss alone isnt as powerful as he was. but its now becoming clear that genesis is going to become more powerful than sephiroth so as to continue the FF7 stroyline. besides sephiroth would have been over powered by zack if he hadnt died, even lazard said zack had the most potential out of any SOLDIER member he had ever seen.
Weiss and Nero are in Dirge of Cerberus. You would have to play it to understand what is going on here. Eventually they will make a sequel to Dirge of Cerberus where Genesis will be back. When that is or for what system, I wouldn't know.
at the end of DoC when Wiesses body is lieing there there is like a big ball of fuems and genesis becomes alive and breaks ot of it and jsut walks around then picks up wiesses body and flys away with his huge black wing
I think they'll start working on another title in the compilation after 13 and vs 13 and KH3 are out of the way, as for a remake, theyve said if they do it, they want ALL of the original developers etc to come back for it, which will be hard seeins as Hironobu Sakaguchi is now with microsoft

well Genesis calls Weiss his brother at the end of Crisis Core, also the credits to the game have Weiss and Nero in there. ^_^

sephiroth is dead, he was released from the northern crater when cloud gave him the black materia and they eventaully killed him. though he comes back due to the clone kadaj and his consuming jenovas cells which sephiroth controls

Is Weiss still alive at the end of DoC or does Genesis just run off with his body? And does anyone have any idea what has happened to Genesis while DoC was going on?

G was sleeping...he just woke up at the end. Remeber he said he would go away until he was needed. Guess for some reason he woke up now...can't wait to find out why.. :]

The belt strap is different than SOLDIER's. I think that's the DeepGround logo.

Deepground is supposedly higher up in the Ranks than SOLDIER. Uhm, they were sort of Top Secret though, since experiments were being done with them and injured SOLDIERS.

SOLDIER is at the top of the peak.
If you look closely both Nero and Weiss are wearing SOLDIER first uniforms. Deepground is more or less a private army with its own goals that has nothing 2 do with Shinra

Originally it was connected with Shinra. Deepground... Shinra wanted a more powerful SOLDIER so they created it. However the Tsviets rose up against the original leaders of the Deepground Unit and took control of it themselves therefor liberating Deepground from Shinra.

Once all the first class SOLDIERS died or dissapeared: Sephiroth,Angeal,Genesis and Zack
ShinRa wanted replacements therefore Deep Ground. And Sephiroth and possibly Genesis still holds the throne as the most powerful char in the ff7 universe

Nomura has said that Sephiroth is the most powerful character in the FF7 universe and Weiss is only that fast when he's inside omega wepon batteling Chaos plus in AC Sephiroth is only at a 1/3 of his real power, and is toying with Cloud.

@WhiteDevil46 yes he did say that, and the only reason Cloud beats him is becuase Sephy underestimates him. Zack on the other hand Sepiroth had to go all out to beat him. it even says in CC missions Hojo's lab.

@Mrtvababa well the first time, in crisis core, cloud caught him off guard and stabbed him in the abdomin, the second time in ff7 he had almost all his friends there to help and in AC, just like WhiteDevil said, Sephiroth wasn't fighting at his full strength

@Mrtvababa 3?...They didn't fight in crisis core, cloud of a lucky shot on sephiroth from the back.. Don't get me wrong Cloud is my favorit characters its just when it comes to sephiroth he just can't win. Idk what the fight was between them in ff7, but in Ac sephiroth was only at 1/3 of his true power and he still seem like he was just messing around with cloud.. Cloud seem to be having a tough time with kadosh plus kadosh was distracted the whole time trying to protect jeanova.

@Mrtvababa very simple in crisis core cloud only finished him off after zack fought him in ff7 he finished him of with omni slash in AC as whitedevil said sephiroth was using 1/3 of his power.

@Mrtvababa That's part of what makes Cloud so awesome, during his first "fight" with sephiroth, he didn't do the whole stupid anoucement of moves, monolouge or AHHH attacks, he just walked up behind sephiroth and stabed him with a huuuge sword XD and then after sephiroth underestimated him because he was a living god and Cloud was just a no name looser of the private rank. and cloud beat him through sheer will power. Cloud is basicly just one lucky SoB, average joe normal with insanely high luck

@EndreVanan Obviously a lot. That's because Square Enix announced that after they complete the FFXIII Compliation and Kingdom Hearts 3 they are going to continue the FFVII Compilation. They said it's far from finished, they estimate that it will double in size. Meaning another 5 or so games and they predict another movie as well. So this just shows that there is so much to tell, both from the past and future in the story. It can be pointless to guess, we just have to wait and see.

@TheNewBerser I agree, after the finish or when they have time once again that they continue FFIX, and yeah I heard that also. VII seems to be what they'd like to finish first after they finish the other big projects they started, but IX is deffinitly another priority. I really hope they do at least. I've heard some people say that they should continue X also, but at least it got a sequel, IX and many others didn't and deserve one. X-2 pretty much seemed to end story wise I think

@valypaly3 X is quite a case closed, it would be pointless to continue it. IX just like VII left a half closed ending, because both left lot of ideas to continue the story. For example lot of plp were like "Wow, what?" when AC and DoC came out to continue the story, and more when crisis core came out. For example in IX, we still not knowing if Kuja stills alive or not, and if he is alive what will he do with his life. Also Kuja is a nice char to take the role of main char in a prequel.

@TheNewBerser I agree, and X is a case close and I'm going to assume that XIII will be after XIII-2 and Versus XIII. With VII, especially after I beat CC I found myself asking even more questions than before, same with DoC a bit and that ACC ending gets you thinking. I agree with what you said about IX too, well SE will have their hands full I'm sure. I think if they continue either or both it would be an almost guarnteed success, rather than starting a new project right away again

@WhiteDevil46 sephiroth was the most powerful for a long time yes, and your correct in saying that weiss alone isnt as powerful as he was. but its now becoming clear that genesis is going to become more powerful than sephiroth so as to continue the FF7 stroyline. besides sephiroth would have been over powered by zack if he hadnt died, even lazard said zack had the most potential out of any SOLDIER member he had ever seen.

Weiss and Nero are in Dirge of Cerberus. You would have to play it to understand what is going on here. Eventually they will make a sequel to Dirge of Cerberus where Genesis will be back. When that is or for what system, I wouldn't know.

at the end of DoC when Wiesses body is lieing there there is like a big ball of fuems and genesis becomes alive and breaks ot of it and jsut walks around then picks up wiesses body and flys away with his huge black wing

I think they'll start working on another title in the compilation after 13 and vs 13 and KH3 are out of the way, as for a remake, theyve said if they do it, they want ALL of the original developers etc to come back for it, which will be hard seeins as Hironobu Sakaguchi is now with microsoft
