Race doesn't really come into it. Anyone can be good at TT. It is just about your talent, the opportunity you get to play and be coached and the amount of practice you are prepared to put in.

Talent, you either have it or you don't, but the Chinese are good at ensuring many kids get the chance to play and be coached and the kids themselves are willing to put in more effort than most.
