sorry buddy i believe your wrong. on my way to work this morning in my si i ran across a speed demon in a vette. never raced a vette in this car only my prelude ive modded and i smoked that one. so on interstate dropped to 3rd gear we took off we was even. hit fourth gear the vette pulled slightly off from me...maybe 3 car lengths....redlined and shifted to fifth gear closed the gap in a second or two and blew the brakes off him. didnt even have to use 6th.

@Mr450 you stated, "thats sad that 450 hp cant get you past 12.5 without radials." 450HP is not going to have the same effect on a car that weighs 1500-1600lbs more bud. a small 4 cylinder engine cannot take high HP numbers without having forced induction. therefor, absolutely everything has to be top of line, pretty much racing parts. those are not cheap by any means. go try to find someone at a track that actually has a 400HP civic and ask them how much they've dumped into it.

Not to mention the 400whp Civic thing.. that probably wouldn't even be street legal in most states... and theres the whole money thing again, you're looking at probably almost $20K to get that much power. any car with a V8 is going to give you way higher HP numbers for probably not even half the cost. do you realize that?
