  • faggot

  • I don't get the last point! What have you done?

  • poorly explained. You're just referring to "here" and "there" without poiting! Waste of time

  • the 2s wont in the same direction

  • lol.. Im Hungarian (like the game) but I swear I couldnt even solve the original Rubik-s cube XDDD (not that I was trying that hard :P)

  • problem, I have a sodoku cube with the centres,1, 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7

    help please!

  • @mattuiop i have that too. and i have no idea what to do. :[

  • @mattuiop yeah me too! HELP US!! D:

  • @mattuiop I just bought a similar cube, did you manage to solve it? can you tell me where to find a tutorial pls?

  • I give you an A+ for your perfect presentation!

    :|

  • lol

  • Why are they coloured

  • im not understand anything

  • just saying but ur not making much sense...

  • Madness. Cool video.

  • OH Yeh Cz Thts Gona Help Us 2 Figure It Out

  • that cube is old!

  • can you lube one of these with jig-a-loo or will it melt teh plastic?

  • Ahh, probably. I've used jig-a-loo on my regular cubes and it's been totally fine. Haven't specifically tried it on a sudokube but i don't think it'd be a problem.

  • what format of video are you using?

  • WMV (from a Logitech Quickcam 5000).

  • try converting the video to mp4 using media-convert . com

hah its what i use to make them fit. its free and you dont gotta sign up or anything

  • your shirt is horrible! how it matches the cube...like Norman Bates

  • you suck.. dan brown would kick your ass. haha

  • the marks on the cube make it no different than the standard rubik's cube

  • thats wrong! you have to rotate the mid-peaces otherwise your 5 is upside down or turn 90° over. and its not that easy to rotate the mids

  • omg peaces xD

i wanted to say 'pieces', sry

  • i never put the stickers on so i dont think ill ever solve it

  • list down all the algorithms for sudokube

  • there the same algorithms as a regular rubik;s cube. It just that the last layer is difficult becuase its hard to find out when to use the algorithms.

  • i solved a sudokube with out the marks it took two trys the first i messed it up the secound try it worked fin

I solved using dan browns method of solving a normal cube

  • There may have been some luck involved though. If you've got identical pieces you would have to guess which is the correct piece.

  • you you use u sudocube as a directional rubeix cube like 1 with arrows ?

  • I'm not sure exactly what you mean here.

  • I don't have a sudocube myself, but I would imagne that it would be similar to a supercube (which is any cube that has arrows for direction which must be properly oriented in one and only one way)

  • its nothing at all like that

  • i like the way the cube sounds when u rotate it lol

  • where did u learn how?

  • i dont really understand it, but do u pretty much like solve it like a normal rubix cube?

  • Yes, except there is an additional step at the end to properly rotate the center pieces (the 5s might not be oriented correctly).

  • I got a sudoku cube for christmas, it's bugging me. I can't solve for numbers very well, so I've just been using it as a normal rubik's cube. It's bad for that even, since it jams alot.

  • ?? did u like cheat by putting those marks on it? and are u teaching us how?

  • Yeah I think it is cheating, by definition, however I was getting too frustrated with it otherwise. There are these ambiguous pieces that without the marks, it's not possible to tell where they go. I wouldn't call it teaching... just trying to show what I did. It's a bit of a struggle in more ways than one.

  • so if i mix it up without putting the marks on, im prety much scrwed?

  • You'll get into situations where it seems that things are correct, but later on you get into situations that are impossible to solve. I wouldn't so far as to say you're screwed, but you will likely have to backtrack. There may be some moves that can fix up the ambiguous pieces directly, but I don't know them.

  • is that bigger than a normal rubiks cube or do you just have small hands?? that thing looks huge.

  • I do have slightly smaller hands than average I think, but if you take a look a my other vids with the regular cubes you'll see this one is bigger. Regular cubes are 2 1/4 inches per side, this Sudokube is 2 3/4 inches per side (around 80% more volume).

  • Yeah, I can't argue with that!

  • ;) I like sudoku and rubik. I got sudokube yesterday. It took 2 hours when I first try this to finish it. The second try is better only 30 minutes ^^ Hehehe.. Using the same method for solving ordinary rubik cube.. Btw thx!!

  • I recently got a rubik's cube with nine numbers on each sticker, so each side is a sudoku puzzle.

  • what video format do you upload

maybe you should consider using a converter--like the ipod video converter from jodix dot com (sorry i cant put url's in comments)--to make the videos smaller

also, remember that youtube's default video resolution is 320x240 so any video with a resolution greater than that will be sized down

  • Yeah I've had some troubles with converting. My cam produces .wmv format and I've just been uploading that directly. I've spent way too long on trying to get different programs to convert that to mpeg or other formats and I just gave up and split the video in two using Windows Movie Maker. I'll try that site next time though. Thanks for the advice.

  • so it's not the same wierd, i was going to pick one up at my airport but am poor

  • so the algorithms are pretty much the same as the 3X3X3 cube, just with different numbers?

  • Yes, you use the same moves, with the only extra being that you need to orient the center pieces, which you don't have to do with a regular cube. I have those moves listed on the page in the sidebar. You have to figure out which pieces belong on the same side and then it's very similar to solving a regular cube.

  • same exact thing as rubik's w/ 3's instead of color

  • Alright thanks, I don't really need it to be fast. I will check out your site.

  • nevermind long tang was first my bad

  • jeaysm, I like your videos a lot do you think you could do a tutorial on the 2x2x2 cube? long tang you were third becuase jeaysm posted 10hours ago I posted a 11 hours ago and you posted 12 hours ago.

  • I can do the 2x2x2 but I don't really have a fast solution. The first layer is easy. For the second layer I just use the corner-positioning moves from Step 5 of solution 1 on my webpage, and then the corner-orienting moves from Step 6 of solution 2 on my webpage. I didn't really have plans for a video on the 2x2x2 but I'll consider it next time I'm making a video.

  • That is got to be tough to solve, I suck at sudoku but doing it on a rubiks cube!

  • It is surprisingly difficult. I was confident that it would be easy when I first got it, but it took quite a long time to figure it out.

  • first!

  • LOL I think this is the first "first post" anyone has done on one of my vids.
