  • Have you ever Lived in Los Angles? Experienced California Freeways?

Very Dangerous Place Worse than the Movies.

  • Living Life with good and bad is my Experience. To have the Opportunity to go to College to Advance your Life Long Goals is Risk Everyone should be Ready to Take. Never Let Fear Stop your Life from Living your Dreams. Go to Any College you can to better your Life.

  • I have to Disagree with CRWCSW because All Colleges have a Crime Rate, I live in Southern California USA and there is Murder, Rape, Armed Robbery and Car Jacking at UCLA and USC. There is a College in Africa then Go Do Not Let Crime Stop Your Advancement In Life.

  • Have you ever lived in Johannesburg? Been to Southern Africa? You can only talk from experience, else your opinion is not worth much.

  • St. John's is not far from the city centre. The school itself is very beautiful. However, Johannesburg is polluted and has a major crime problem - serious crime: murder, rape, armed robbery and car hijacking. The police are not coping. However, security at St. John's is good. There are many things to do at St. John's - sport is 'big' and also cultural activities throughout the year. Can be a bit dull on weekends though, and the food may not be the best (particularly over weekends).

  • so its not safe for me to go there. Im originally from somalia. I came to the usa at the age of 3. Im now 23yrs of age and will love to go back to africa for a study abroad program. Tell me a typical day in south africa. Education and girls are a must..lol..tell me more

  • I assumed that you were of school going age. The oldest students at St. John's are probably nineteen and in the Sixth Form where they study Cambridge A-levels. So, you will not be able to study at St. John's yourself. Perhaps you can play another role at the College while studying at university for example - contact the headmaster Mr. Roger Cameron (+27)11 645-3000 in this regard. Probably the only typical thing about a day in South Africa is that crime will happen. Oh yes, and electricity cuts.

  • S.A. is a really beautiful country - great wildlife, sea, mountains and bush. Many pretty girls and nightclubs (some safer than others). HIV Aids is huge in S.A., so you will need to be really careful. But, crime is the main issue. It is no fun watching your back all the time. So many traffic lights in Johannesburg are known hijack hotspots. A person without experience in Johannesburg can end up in trouble very quickly. My advice to you is find another city. The world is a big place.

  • woow..So crimes and HIV are command in Jhannesburg. How about Cape town. I can be a student or i can even do voluntary intership. Im somewhat afraid to even go to South Africa now after what you have stated. Normally usa colleges or universities starting age is 18yrs of age to whateva(10000). I guess they do it differently up there. But if u know any others schools or programs i can do or voluntary please let me know. EVEN nearby countires which are safe and fun to study or do a intership at.

  • Hey thats my school. i spent 6 years there and must know almost every inch of it. I miss it

  • tell me more about you school plgahan. what would it offer me. What is the best university or college in south africa for education, safety and sexxy girls.
