original is always best... some people recently uploaded the version by abbas, and i have to say.. i'm not very impressed with it... probably because this is a piece with such perfection that it's hard to see anyone else's work.

hope i didn't offend any of his fans, he does has a good voice, no question about it :-)

its just the matter of perception, your brain tells you the original is the better, and it does not want to accept the fact that abbas has done a fabulous job, he has given the song a whole new dimension with his soulful singing, the worst thing would be to compare it with the original, even he himself says that no one can recreate the magic but he sure has done an amazing job and taken the song to another level. i love the original but i even love abbas' version both have their own flavor :)

@aakfan you are absolutely rite!!!.. nayyara noor g ki awaaz main jo mithaas or narmi hai ..uska dil ko choo lene wala jadoo apni jaga per abbas ali khan has surely surely done a SUPERB job....when i was listening to abbas's version it gave me goospumps and i realy touched .......and i then realised tht i had a little tear in my eye...... and actualy its cz of the lyrics too ,, they soo deep , every thing togather adds up and make us feel good tht we have such great singers and artists !
