I actually met him in Genova several years ago after a Mr Bungle's concert and he made the same comment about a video with him driving the APE in the narrow streets of that city while the band is playing on the back (Ah AH Ah!). Sadly he never did it!

An ape isn't a motorcycle, but a kind of three-wheeled pickup truck the size of a tricycle. They're hysterical to look at. Patton is saying he wants to make a video with him behind the wheel of one of those things, with his band playing in the back, as they race through the city traffic.
