  • jeremy clarkson did it first...

  • but i dont understand how this is so impressive on the hilux's part, any pickup truck from any japenese manufacture like nissan, mitsubishi, isuzu etc would be able to do the same with all those mods.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheyLiveWeObey. You are right about the force that is put onto your feet when you go for jog. Because you put vertical pressure on your feet. G-force is gravity force that the earth pulls you down. If you actually believe your statement and you think that the force on your feet (vertical) is the same as in a car moving forward ( horizontal), Then my friend please, do not try to be an expert on something you are clearly not. Rather stick to something you know.

  • Any 4wd can do that with all those mods, new hiluxs are talked up way too much, do this to a Toyota Nissan mitsubishi izuzu ford holden hell even a great wall and they would do this

  • @TheyLiveWeObey Ok, you're done, I was hoping you would go learn something, but you do what is so identifiable with idiots like yourself.

No more schooling for you, from now on you are an idiot who sucks monkey taint.

Now fuck off and play in your room. And open a book once in a while you half witted imbecile.

  • @TheyLiveWeObey Normally I would let the retards be, but today I'm in the mood to bash retards. Read up retard, you are an idiot for 2 reasons.

    1. G-Force acts on the vehicle only when velocity changes occur.

So once your speed is established there is no such thing as a G-Force.

    2. This one doesn't even need to be said but I will anyway, G-Force acts on the vehicle on a horizontal plane not a vertical one. Refer to Armor piercing bullets for an exact analogy. Now fuck off & read.

  • After these mods this truck has as much a right to the name Toyota Hilux as does Ferrari.

Sorry to tell you but the only thing left on this thing that is Toyota are probably the decals. So to everyone out there go buy any truck you want and make same mods and you can have the same if not better truck at the end. Massive THUMBS DOWN!

  • amazing truck can some one inform me how can i get it and how much the price realy i like it .thanks 4 allllll

  • Are there 44" or 38" tires? I suppose 44 but not sure...

  • this 4c ??

  • ho maths basins plies

  • So THIS is where my favourite truck is made... Love it!

  • they had to take those trucks all the way to the north poll to show that they can drive on flat ice? a minivan could have done that

  • @kentrob90 you should watch the top gear north pole special.

It's not as easy as it seems

  • @kentrob90 definitely not flat ice. its full of intense obstacles and deep snow with ice

  • any car can b driven on north pole

  • @TheLoveformankind go ahead. drive a veyron to the pole. i DARE you

  • @thecatsgonewild I dont drive cheap cars like bugatti

  • kalifaesfiharia av.imirim 3283 bairro imirim sp

  • If this truck was a boob, I'd touch it.

  • isuzu d-max could do that too!

  • north pole? how about taking that thing to the dunes!

  • Chevys mighty silverado made it to the south pole so what know

  • This is one COOL ride ---- NO traffic !

  • i wish they would fall through the ice he is going like 70 miles an hour in the north pole. crazy

  • @lamontyrulez Actually the faster you go the less chances of falling through the ice there are. Very little wait is being concentrated at any one point in the ice sheet. Ends up dispersing the weight a lot more evenly. Kinda like the Jesus lizard, it runs so fast on water that it won't sink, the water tension holds him up.

  • Dear Santa........

  • SOUNDS GREAT UNTIL YOUR GAS PEDAL GETS STUCK

  • sooo, pretty much any truck with these mods could do this.. lmao!

  • they never Heard of Top Gear Have they?

  • noob question.. does bigger tires same in this vid consumes more fuel??

  • @althegreat17 generally yes, the more surface area of tire on the ground the less efficient the vehicle, however tires like these with a large surface area are needed to drive in ice and snow

  • @evaljake303 thanks!

  • why do people need to drive to the north pole. This is some bullshit.

  • Oh shutup, not everything need a point, it's a task for the car to show what the car is capable of.

  • @pablof59

    Through the back window...

  • seriously, if you want to drive in such remote parts of the world don't do it with a fossil fuel burning car

  • lol so basically its a newer lifted toyota tacoma with huge wheel wells for bigger tires... badass lol

  • top gear did it forst in that car

  • @2:54 how are you supposed to get out once its in the container??

  • My jeep wrangler 2011 STOCK can do (easy) the same thing!!!

  • @gouchiaye Sure.

  • @gouchiaye The Toyota Hilux didn't break down in this video mate. Watch it again ;)

  • couldnt they do this to any truck?

  • Hah with just those tires alone, it went from 13 mpg to like 6 mpg :D

  • @yir1988 Please don't be an idiot. This is not a copy. They are actually the "Arctic Trucks" team who build the Toyota Hilux trucks for Top Gear.

  • Good old trustworthy toyota

  • those cars were tuned in iceland

  • Does your butt tingle when you sit in that knew Japanese car? Google and read "Where Were The Japanese Radioactive Cars Shipped?"

  • Nice but the new toyota is three times more expensive than the original

  • how come they dont sell these trucks in the u.s. i only seen them in mexico

  • finally some people who appreciate true engineering so what if they ddoont have v8s rednecks theyll run alot longer than any v8 truck on the market today even if it was built n 1980s

  • where they first, or was it UK's Top Gear ?

  • um i want

  • shit do it with a 1997 f250 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel then we are talkin

  • typical ford guy......

  • @mrmachete666 i dont have anything against toyota chevy or gmc or dodge. but when you put 800 thousand miles on a truck built in 1997 and drive it to the junkyard its says something about a truck

  • Why not make it like a snowmobile without the whells?? That would be sick!

  • all of you guys are total idiots.....i didnt say anything about who made the trucks you fags, i just pointed out that they made 2 trucks for top gear first and it was covered there. OMG people are so retarted these days. AND i made that comment 5 months ago, how can it not die?

  • @opiumrx If you can't spell, "retarded", then don't call someone "retarded".

  • @p52xtra chrome auto spelling fixed and wrongly but anyway obviously i meant retarted

  • @opiumrx you are still spelling it wrong. The word is, "RETARDED", ...

  • @p52xtra Don't blame it on "word spell",..... because there is no such word as "RETARTED"

  • @p52xtra diferent spelling in diferent countries.....DUH

  • @opiumrx put up a link to your dictionary definition of "retarted".

  • @opiumrx are u trolling all who cant spell correct? who is the bigger retard as u say so nicly to every one? ;)

  • @bruttus666 yeah w/e dufis this was a long time ago

  • what kind of ad is this? "well your $30k vehicle wont stand a chance at this. in fact youll need so many $100k's of mods that only your stock hilux steering wheel logo will remain."

  • @sheepblitzer remember the engine is still the same. they choose toyota because the reliability. i can't say the same for the others

  • @ctdesing hey i cant argue with that. just saying that their advertisement (the whole point of this right?) sort of belittles their own product.

  • i like how they just show what is happening, no explanation of anything

  • @mudkrab

Do you really need to be explained the things they did to the Hilux to get it to drive through snow, ice, and below freezing temperatures fo an extended period of time?

  • @ 2:42 I wonder how he got out of the truck...

  • @pablof59 he didn't

  • @brom0sapien Good one !

  • @pablof59 thats why they installed a sunroof

  • @pablof59 the trunk

  • fools get a hummer customized instead of this!!!!

  • @44murtaza we have didnt work to well, to heavy

  • how did the driver get out when it was in the container

  • with all those mods, i can get my golf to the north pole. i like toyota too, but to be honest, any car can get there now

  • @blueburaq I haven`t been there but very close, and you`d be surprised with the mods you have to make just to get the motor to turn over.

  • with all those mods, i can get my golf to the north pole

  • WE CAN SUPPLY NEW 2012 HILUX AND FORD PICKUP TRUCK FROM THAILAND.

    PLEASE E-MAIL US info@alpha-auto.co.th

  • @dub395

    China quality.

  • wow. we made it to survive the heat and rough terrain, now it's been adapted to be the best in the cold, too. cool

  • exelente que hermoso trabajo super cool!!!

  • incredible :O

  • Is it still a Hilux? They took everything out including the tranny. The engin is still there, but this is not a Hilux anymore. Lame.

  • @jlund75 That's what I was thinking. They did so much to that thing and sunk so much money into it when I spent less on buying my Bronco, lifting it, putting new tires and wheels on it, and a new motor, than they spent on all the modifications. And i bet it's not even as trail capable as my Bronco ;)

  • @blindskater200 I read an article about the truck this company made for top gear. The mods werent the same ones used to make a bronco or any other truck offroad capable. A lot of it had to do with the temperature where the vehicle was operating. They had to heat any place with fuel in it, as well as heat the air that gets into the motor. Supposedly temperature in the area can hit -65 celsius. They did a lot of other stuff to it too i just cant remember what is is.

  • Now.... where do i get one of those? i'd love to own one... :D

  • @Misiekgren Iceland and Norway as i know of. Artic Truck is an Icelandic company, and there are there the best modifications are made.

  • yes.... but does it blend?

  • nice car vid

  • I can imagine that finding a gas station near the North Pole would present quite a problem

  • @spaminacan11 Lol, they have extra tanks :P

  • those tires are worth more than the car

  • @akkillabeast Depends on where the car s bought. In the US, that may be true, but in Norway the car still is more pricy. Them bloody taxes...

  • looks a bit nose heavy

  • u guys let an idiot into the top comments, read the info.

  • So its not a Hilux , it completely modified and has a roof line and cockpit off a Hilux , nothing else has anything to do with the car or what you buy on the street at .. What The Fuck

  • @BrianDewy actually its a hilux, from what i saw it got 4 big wheels, 4 new rotors, new diff, modified tranny, a roll bar, thats all really.

  • chuck norris drove this to pre k

  • that should be how it comes stock.

  • how do they increase the height of their trucks??

  • @orika001 not sure exactly what they used but any major brand lift kits would work. 6" about for those massive tires

  • @eggblade1 gee. thanks!

  • Hell yeah Toyota! Thats why I have 5 of them on my driveway ;)

  • TOYOTA CAMRY SE POWER STEERING PUMP DEFECTIVE. CORPORATE WON'T FIX. SEE VIDIOS ON YOUTUBE.COM. TOYOTACAMERYSE AND ALSO ON CNN.COM TOYOTA666.

  • Jeremy Clarkson with James May drove a modified Tacoma through the North Pole and not a Hilux, Tacoma is an American Toyota pick up truck with Hilux base, Tacoma and Hilux are different, Tacoma is tougher than the ordinary Hilux..

  • @nolicustodio It's a Hilux. The Tacoma is a soft cock version of the Hilux made for US consumers that want more comfort. The Tacoma would never make it to the North Pole...besides its not even sold with a diesel engine. Jeremy and May's Hilux was filled with alpine diesel mix to prevent the fuel from from freezing in the tanks.

  • @nolicustodio your wrong, its a hilux. i own one, its just not modified to the same extent. I live in Australia were hilux's came out with a solid front axle till 97 because we need a tough and dependable 4wd. damn well near indestructible. i have tried.

  • @dimitriskrin yup nothing beats toyota axles i have a toyota fj40 or bj40 im pretty sure love it but it has some minor engine problems just the thermastat

  • hihí_äNYõNE_wÄÑñâ_chãt_with_mË_î_fëel_sØ_lòñëly_tØdÁy▲

  • Toyota the most holy name in the car world. They choose Toyota because the devils of destruction are afraid of that name. :)

  • could've done this with any truck, they basically redid the whole truck

  • @ksmwarrior True, but they made no modifications to the engine, according to artic trucks the only cars/trucks that made it to the magnetic north pole, north pole, south pole etc. without engine modifications were Toyotas. Also Toyota has a great reputation for the best engines in the world. As for those who talk about the accelerator pedals, that joke is old guys, the US goverment that said that, the owner of GM, said that NASA tested the TOYOTA throttle system and nothing was wrong with it.

  • fantastic website webmovietube,to watch free online movies..

  • @UCDDC2 I was referring to the H1 which is and always will be the best all weather/terrain stock vehicle in the world. No mods needed to take an H1 to the moon nevermind the north pole.

  • top gear did something alike ?

  • Bigtime Toyota exec: Ok so how are we getting to the north pole to prove how tough we are?

    Engineer: Leave it to me!

    (later that day)

Engineer: OK guys take all the fiberglass off, put a hummer inside, then paste on the fiberglass again.

Seriously - thats not a toyota hilux. Thats a heavily modified custom vehicle with a toyota body.

  • @douglasrmarion Its still has the toyota engine and frame. Yeah it is modified but It still is a toyota...just stronger. A hummer has lost its original intent and now is a messly soccer mom's car. There is a reason they picked toyota....they dont want to worry about something going wrong. Toyotas are tough and will run forever without flaws

  • im pretty sure my saturn wagon could do this...

  • Incredible, all this money spent for nothing !!

  • how the driver comes out of container

  • @salambhola lol thats a good question. :D

  • cool movie..check this at webmovietube

  • that is tha badest hilux ever!

  • 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0aaaaao0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0

  • I like how the video just says a toyota mighty hilux driving to the north pole... making me think its like some crazy stock challenge... Any car shit prolly a subaru baha could make it to the north pole if it was suped up enough....

  • this is ok movie..watched the full movie in webmovietube for free

  • i just peed in my pants...fucking awesome truck

  • Top Gear did indeed do this already. But it was nice to see how the rigs were converted into arctic conquering machines.

  • Is the fabric model so bad that they had to redo EVERYTHING ?!?!?!

  • @ValarMorgoth You dont know much about cars do you? The only thing here thats not a HiLux anymore is a reduction transfercase to get the gearing right. Its the law of physics, bigger tires need lower gearing and more space. They cut out the fenders and lower the mounting for linkage arms and the IFS in front. Suspension is also probably replaced to get more ground clearance. Stock axles front and rear with other gearing. You must do this to any car that need that big tires- whatever the brand is

  • @ChevyPantera Is that supposed to prove that you know something about cars ?

    You know shit.

  • It's not Toyota Hilux anymore.

  • old news top gear did it first

  • @opiumrx nope they did not... this company... Arctic trucks did it before and it was them who gave top gear they´re trucks and also drove them to the north pole.

  • @opiumrx

What do you mean first? They've only done it once.

  • @opiumrx Actually, those are the guys from Arctic Trucks in Iceland, who made the truck for Top Gear so the modifications are the same, and that's what the video is all about.

  • @opiumrx This is from Top Gear.

  • @opiumrx where the fuck do you reckon they got their truck? you dumbass

  • @opiumrx who do you think made the truck they drove to the north pole with

  • @TheLastpin watch top gear hilux review, and you will know what hilux can do. thats why they said mighty Hilux. is unstoppable

  • @opiumrx idiot read the info

  • @jjandrooney THUMBS UP!

  • @opiumrx lol fcking idiot, read the comments....

  • @medjaiii at least get my comment before bitching about it you doushe.....

  • @opiumrx those two idiots at top gear are flaming fags

  • @opiumrx Wow your stupid

  • I believe I could just do that in my Mitsubishi.

  • should i be amazed at how much modification was done or the fact we can drive to the "north pole"?

  • a jeep wouldnt be able to do that either without modifications it needs so much to be able to first get threw all the drifts n shit then it needs to also have thhe milage capability to make it there. a jeep wouldnt be able to.

  • Looked like lots of work to build a vehicle with those capabilities when they could have purchased a more capable Jeep Rubicon and drove it off the showroom and into that container.

  • @srok62 U sound confident. WHy don't u go try it.

  • This was the first car to make it to the North Pole and not the toyota.

The Lada Niva Marsh search on youtube

  • I'm trying to get to the North Pole to inspire others to achieve their big dreams. Will you take a minute to help me with a vote? Go to blogyourwaytothenorthpole Web site and then choose entry #287. Thanks!

  • What is the sountrack of the movie ? the name of the melody that plays

  • I want that truck!! It will definitely make make me 6 ft tall and and have the biggest penis out of all my friends!! Thank you Toyota

  • i want one.....

  • And a standard HiLux can`t do that ???

    ... but nice truck

  • hmm Top Gear proved it was daft to try and drive to the North Pole because of the boulder field

If this one made it to the North pole, what did they do about the boulder field? It took Top Gear three days to get through I think? It doesnt even appear here

  • @animesis That's because this is fagtube and they expect you to believe they made it.

  • So the only real challenge remaining in Arctic expeditions is who gets to control the CD player.

  • i wounder how much tires cost for those trucks!
