  • Great Song ..

  • trip to this

  • Amazing. Why doesn't this song have more credit :)

  • forgot how much this sounds like a song off the first Low album

  • who is space needle, i like them....

  • @ebattershell I searched dark end of the street. Clicked on the one uploaded by RecoveryIsAnOption. Part 8--under related vids there's a follow up as of 2004. I was really hoping for more info on Jessica :( no luck there tho.

I watched V. Mars and never caught what Live moment this song was from..anyone know?

  • @iread jessica is dead, as is jake and oreo's girlfriend at the time, to me the most interesting character is oreo, he was located after the 2004 update but has dissapeared since....

  • @zoomorphicrap I'm just after watching the 'Black tar Heroin' doc, how do you know about Jessica, Jake and Oreo?

  • Heroin documentary bought me here.

  • the band name is not a reference in any way to heroin. It's not an homage to the Seattle landmark either. Now, the space needle in Seattle i'm failry confident, is where Jud (vox, etc) may've 1st heard the 2 words together (how could it not be), however: if you listen to their two albums, it becoomes quite clear, that Space Needle in this sense, is a new meaning. Think Space. Then, think Needle. Vast. Miniscule. new concept. it's own. I'm J. Cox. I recorded "Moray Eel" & am good friend w/ Jud.

  • @spacecasejace

its just that it appears several times in the HBO. Documentary "Black Tar Heroin" & as the title suggests there's plenty of needles involved, its a fantastic song, & a great documentary, don't get me wrong..it is an amazing song..if it wasn't for the dock it may have been years until i found this track

  • @mkultrah yeah, I know. but the band name has nothing to do w/ heroin. straight up.

  • Veronica & Logan are just meant to be

  • Just watched Black Tar Heroin (Dark End of the Street). A chilling story, and this song stuck out to me. These kids are really sick, lost and essentially abandoned. Anyone know if they've made up a follow up to this story? Did anyone survive?

  • greatest song ever!

are there more space needle songs?

  • Your video means a lot to me. This song and Seattle both I hold dearly. Your video somehow married up both of these and placed a smile on my face throughout all of the sadness. Thanks :)

  • @MrLeonSpruce hey i'm Oreo and i'm alive and fine i moved out to london and i'm ok here thanks..

  • @budders444 noooo...

  • Really great video. It would have been neat if you got a pic of Kurt Cobain's Seattle home too. :)

  • @AlyssaQ420 It was torn down & a new house with a new number was built a few years ago.

  • I want this song played at my funeral.

  • @AlyssaQ420 heeeey ...don't have to rush that much.

  • i was at seattle this summer. was only in the bottom of the space needle but it was still cool

  • You have exquisite taste. Thank you so much for finding this!! Yeah, I found it first on the soundtrack of a doco on heroin addiction. I bought both their CDs.

  • what a beautiful song, such a dark reference though.

  • @hunkydorey2 Out of interest what do you think the reference is?

  • @budders444 what, it isn't obvious to you, or are you trying to be smart. here are some of the lyrics. You don't know who you are You get your life from a star But I, I can see in the dark. Nothing can be so strange As to make you wanna stay I found out a long time ago There's a voice in my head. You always answer the phone You never go out alone. But I'm never lonely alone No I'm never lonely alone. cmon man, its fucking obvious what the song is about.
  • @hunkydorey2 Well Im guessing your assuming on the lines of heroin use but I don't understand what he's on about half the time what exactly is he talking about

  • @budders444 he is missing his beloved, he is singing about how much he misses her, but that when he thinks about her, it is like she is there with him, and although he can't see her through the dark, he can still see her as she gets her life from a star.

it is about the death of a loved one, and how through time, you learn to accept the loss and relive the time through memories

  • @hunkydorey2 Sounds pretty subjective to me

  • @hunkydorey2 this song is about bunny rabbits little pink bunnys

  • this song is heavy

  • Cancion!!

    Love T3 vans too!!

  • Heroin.

  • @MaxiBoOoY

    Very well put.

  • i really l;ike this song im glad you put it up. thanks

  • theres some great bands from the 90s who were just droped in the trash

  • someone will remake this song and get rich of it someday

  • Veronica Mars sent me.

  • @GrayTigerProductions

    same here! :P

  • this song is depressing

  • nice song men :)

  • and reminds me of a calmer

    Vevet Underground track............heroin

    cool sound

  • This is classic heroin music. Consider the band's name. They're not just referencing a Seattle landmark.

  • This song should have went #1. So sad and beautiful.

  • outstanding song. It makes me tear up when I hear it.

  • So simple.. and so fucking beautiful..

  • this is such a beatiful song

  • someone know if its possible to practise snowboard in seattle during the summer.. im from spain and i fancy snowboarding in the usa.
