i saw in an interview daughtry explained the meaning behind the song, its basically about a person who has a lot of trouble in thier life and they basically get in thier car to escape from thier troubles and get to the "tennesse line" and realise that their troubles will always be there whereever they go so they bascially know that they have to turn around and instead of running from there problems they have to turn back and sort it out. beautiful meaning :)
