@lolol801 There aren't that many Chinese long pips choppers. Korea has had many very good long pips players, especially in women's table tennis. In this case, I think the Korean coaches would have done a better job.

Kong use to play with Ding Song and many other choppers, nowadays they only have Hou Yingchao, thus Chinese players nowadays are lack of the knowledge of the games for choppers, that being said, this is an awsome match no matter what.

I think this was Joo's best match, of all time. Period. He was ranked at #63, if I'm not mistaken, in 2003. And to play against a legend like Kong, when you're not even in the top 20, and nearly win, is more than just a great feat. He's like Matsushita with a forehand of death.

It seems obvious that 2003 was a great moment for both, taking in consideration their participation in the wttc that same year :D
