was on the 2nd row at this gig...getting on for 17 500 hits now. . .this has to be one of the clearest footage of the band on the net...check out far from home too. how good are these guys live. it should be law that every school kid in our fare land have a history lesson on this band and wot it stands for. there is more to life than x factor kids... leant their trade the hardway

A teacher at s chool was surprised to hear that a friend and I were really into the Levellers, and we're 17 and 18. These songs are all fantastic, timeless and so well written. One of the few bands who truly capture beauty in music. Incidentally, the only Julie I know, could've had this song written exactly about her.
