I'm not a big MK player, so I may be wrong, but what's so bad about bomb traps? As I can tell, you can only do it from a command grab. To me, it just seems like a command grab that leads into a combo (Think karakusa). So by that mentality, what makes it so bad?

@Johnnyboybravo the patch talk was about the bug in the cyrax bomb trap. the damage reset will be fixed so the combos scale right. the command throw is supposed to have a 10 frame break window but theres a bug where its only 2 frames. thats being patched. so, while you can still bomb trap after then throw lands, you will never ever ever be able to do it off of a net hitting because the breaker will be 10 frames not 2. so the trap isnt being removed, just the glitch on the throw break.

I am not 100% percent sure but I do believe this requires an internet connection. When you boot up MK9 and it gives you a 'searching online' message, it's looking to implement those quick fixes.
