  • This is a piece of s**t!!

  • @MrGeorgedio3 You obviously are lol

  • history!

  • 'nj gj это по моему дюран дюран странно образца 82 года

  • Why did this video splice into a different recording? Them movie Sucker Punch has this song in the credits. I sometimes hum this song in 2011! When I saw the Credits of Sucker Punch in the movie theater I was surprised. To see the remake. To hear it again. Relieve some psychological pressure from me from other's, born 25 years later and wondering "What is this song he's humming". This song is as sweet as a Lime LifeSaver candy! Thank you for posting. Can you get 1 full original song of it too? .

  • Recorded Summer 1975

Video and music are streets ahead of time!

  • Love it.... also... I love my donkey..... :))))

  • amazing thats all i got to say

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • HONKY! POXY MUSIC!!!!!!! I THINK!!!!!!!

  • Played this song for some friends back in the 70's and they looked at me like I was some kind of fruitcake...F***em.

  • @calif562

    Yeah, I know the sort ~ ***k 'em (-;

"Real" women prefer "fruitcakes" anyway. The rest is for the birds.

I still love this track 30+ years later. Guess the fruit's still ripe!

  • @calif562 U WHERE AHEAD OF THEM BUD........ HOPE THEY WOKE UP !

  • i,need,your,druglove,it,s,,my,food,for,my,spirit

  • His son hunts foxes!

  • This is awful. This is just like any person on the street in front of a microphone singing about nothing.

  • @schlachthauz you might want to pin back your ears, sunshine .. or: get cour dictionary out..

    Bon weekend..

  • @hpeter59 mi ne komprenas vian kvazaŭdiron.

  • @schlachthauz Only to someone with the sensibility of a wooden plank, perhaps.

  • @sclapione only dry british could enjoy this stiff with his bad hip bopping on stage with airline stewardesses. one can only shake the head in wonder. His son though is a famous fox hunter in the UK. Otis Ferry isnt it? Its a funny name for a fox hunter, to be named after a blues musician. Rather like the master naming his son for his favorite slave! What a joke!

  • @schlachthauz Pal, you're way off base here..A bit over the top, aren't you mate? Bryan Ferry and his band changed the type of modern music we listen to today..Always copied but never duplicated..In fact after The Beatles, the most influential band to come out of Great Brittain.."I'm not so special you're a misfit too".

  • Love is the Drug ,but nobody told me of the side affects ,deep depression ,nervousness and a deep hatingness of that bitch ,apart from that I'm hunky dory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bowlandboy haha true, I have spent years hating the man I love only to find out that he had been hating me pretty heavily too during the course of that time! haha It is a freaking drug that will consume you indeed, IF you don't have the maturity to know how to dose it. Peace out lol

  • The 1st time I heard this song was actually on the documentary-movie,"Depeche Mode 101",( released in1989,world concert tour in the US from late 1987-'88).There is a scene where lead singer,"David Gahan",is playing an arcade video game and is singing this song..."Love is the Drug"

  • Great song but messed up audio

  • Bryan is God!

  • i love russian rokn-roll

  • Arrr, shiver me timbers!

  • I have always loved this song!! Wow!! This so takes me back to such an awesome time in my life! There was such a magical feel back then that you just cant feel today. Such a shame indeed. Thankfully I can always look back to this time and remember the way it felt when this world just gets to be too much!! Missing these days forever!! Love is the Drug my friends!! :))

  • хороши напоминают мне duran

  • Drugs are the drug.

  • does love exist this times?

  • YES! VERY MUCH SO :)

i can honestly say my husband and i have had that honest real love where youre addicted to the other person for 28 years :) IT EXSISTS AND DONT SETTLE FOR SECOND BEST

  • genio el tio¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @iheartsupernatural He's hot, certainly not ugly . . . .

  • Legend.... !

  • Bryan Sweaty..

  • So what happened to Mr Ferry's snobby son who assaulted some fox hunting protester ? But in the aftermath was charged with perverting the course of justice . Because i'm sure if it was any fucker i know who was charged with such an offence . well they'd be jail bound !

  • Love is the drug!

  • song is love, mon dieu no dieau

  • whoever ke$ha is cant come up with her own song name. lovedrug is a band and there is this song and she writes a dumb song called lovedrug

  • Check out their earlier music from 72'-74, in particular 'If there is Something', and tell me they have not influenced every generation of musicians ever since......cool or not, THEY HAVE!

  • Shit, that's what.

  • The song is good, even today.

    But that was then.

    Lets move on folks.

Get this shit out of your tiny heads and get real ya

    pseudo -mod wanna be!

Punk started it all, but after that, fashion and music, especially

in the 1980's, became lost in a mish-mash of

    derivitive and unimaginative garble.

  • aint big thing

  • He he , this guy seems to be stoned :) He is standing still and sweating :) This is something todays spnnage eating performers would not do :) he he, ROFLMAO. Oh OK get a grip. Roxy music is great but , hmmm, give the guy some air conditioning and put him on the hmmm . ... tred mill or whatever you call it in english . ;) standing still and sweating :) ok, that was 1980s I guess and now it is 2010 :) but Avalon was great ... ok .. lets search for the other great bands ... Ultravox .. better :)

  • Roxy Music are coming to PORTUGAL!!! yeah baby!!! I´m gonna be there... Brian ferry one of the coolest guys ever!

  • Arrrrrrr! it be Cap'n Ferry I believe. Scourge of the Wear and Terror of The Galleries

  • He was so different and sexy .

  • Who did the eyepatch thing first? Bryan Ferry or David Bowie?

  • @HonkyCat90 Pretty sure it was Bowie

  • Ooohh, it looks like someone has given Bryan a poke in his brown eye. Love maybe the drug but soap would have been the cure.

  • all radios should play this on a daily basis

  • @gincanonassis

    and then some!

  • here we see the brian ferry´soul as never has been seen in other singer !!!!!! ooooohhhhh!!!!!!!

  • yes please.

  • "So, Mr. Ferry, you always wanted to play a Bond Supervillian..."

  • What a trip. i thought the Clash sang this. And I didn't know it was made in 76. Roxy music is great and Bryan Ferry is a great composer.

  • Genial !!!

  • @leakesonasucs You must be kidding? It is Roxy's, and you can feel that is theirs, the bloody groove, the crazy bass, the most visceral love sing ever, it could be only Roxy's. And nobody else's. Some people may have made a cover, okey, but nobody does it better than Roxy. :)

  • @leakesonasucs wah?

  • @leakesonasucs It sounds lovely You must have retarded hearing

  • @leakesonasucs Omg, ALL your favourites are retarded ?

    figures

  • that´s a MUSIC :)) roxy :))

  • 0:38 to 0:53...AKIMBO...showin' off the goods...Nice one Mr. Ferry!!

  • Oh, sorry. I thought this was a music video comment page. Obviously I was wrong since it appears to be a political forum. UGH! Does everything have to be politics or religion?

  • @troutboy55 agreed!!

  • Thanks Tankster. My goodness, the bullshit grows ever deeper.

  • @troutboy55 no doubt it gets sooo old!

  • @troutboy55

A reflection of the times. . . sadly.

  • What a silly thing to say, was it meant as a joke

  • @TheNorthcountryman no :) just my opinion

  • Fair comment, we may just be from different musical eras, no offence meant

  • None taken - I'm just a huge jamiroquai fan! lol :)

  • @jamiroquai01fan I like Jamiroquai, but no way is he as good as Bryan Ferry. Sorry.

  • @kiribula fair enough but i prefer jamiroquai :). I like this song though. To be honest though i don't like many songs by roxy music :(

  • thanks Telos for sharing this cool video! 5*!

  • Demasiado

  • He... Looks like Bruce Cambell... Lol, oh well, learned about this song when I saw Super Mario Bros. the movie in theaters when I was like 5

  • Ferry is God.

  • aw!! He's still absolutely gorgeous to this day! Perfect Mr Marks and Spencers, reminds me of their chocolate pudding!! mmmm xx

  • there are alot of people who accoiate these things with people like bryan, him alot and david bowie particularly with heroes for some reason

  • hahahahahaha

  • dopey twats , whats fuckin nazis got to do with this great song? shut up you morons and appreciate the music.

  • Agrees with Indestwetrustify. Leave the fucking politics out of this hot song

  • and? ah, you succeed in making no point! you need someone elses thoughts to make your point! is there such thing as fake intelligence going on here? what do you, Slivera think?

  • How the hell can you say that the Nazis were misunderstood? What about the hundreds of thousands of people they killed in the holocaust, how dare you say this and why the hell are you discussing it on here, get a life!

  • calm it hitler

  • yes the poor hundreds of thousands they killed. It was millions. But we were allied with Stalin who killed more of his people than Hitler did, by a large margin.

  • Very true, and most of the lives lost were that of his own countrymen.

  • IDIOT !!!

  • WTF does nazis have to do with Roxy music? They're an English band... wiki it!

  • I admire certain minor aspects, yes. But I do not admire them overall, and think that they deserved to be wiped out. (In reality, most of them took off their Nazi uniforms and crawled into obscurity).

  • I'm waiting for your revisionist history book "Why The World Would Be Better Off If Hitler And His Buddies Had Won WW2"...

  • 1:11 looks like Lou Diamond Phillips

  • eyepad: Bowie rip off. And where is the BIKE roaring?

  • How does a one eyed man get his pilots license? Tsk tsk..

  • Like Ferry I admire Nazi designs but I do not admire their racist policies and murderous ways...

  • does it occur to anyone how gay Nazi uniform looked?

  • Now that you mention it, yeah. So what's Brian Ferry done w/ his life after 1976?

  • lol i think the dance helped it along a bit....

  • Criss que c bon FUCK! =)

  • What the $&%$! Why did he switch clothes so fast in the middle of this?! scary

  • Great transition!

I didn't even see that one coming!

  • Great mix. his voice is so amazing. he is one sexy m.f. I was just watchin him also on live aid (woo hoo I don't hafta find those vhs tapes that I got up extra early to tape!).

    Thanx 4 posting this!

  • Loved the transition between cuts. You rock for posting this.

  • you pups are too young to remember when him and bowie were the class male acts of their time-i saw them both and they were true showmen

  • Interesting combo of studio and live

    ♫Aaron Ryan Music♫

  • From a friend from the past. Take care.

  • i say go,she say yes...

  • disjointed vid' goes to show how consistantly good the band was.

  • I recall he had an injury. Note the cotton.

  • ONLY Bryan Ferry could get away with those pants!!

  • were they on star search?

  • Classic song...but I could do without the bubbles.

  • Like this?... You may like A Band Called Bert

  • awesome

  • Why the eye patch...?

  • Fashion statement; savvy?

  • because brian ferry is a pirate, arrr

  • 'Cause eyepatches are sexeh.

  • Harrrrrr!

  • david bowie visited him in a dream and advised him to, obviously.

  • @raveracer haha, yes

  • this reminds me of "kids in emerica"

  • His elbows are fantastic!

  • Dig the bubbles! He's almost as cool as Lawrence Welk. Almost...

  • HETAL'S THE DRUG :D

  • OLD BELGICA still sickens some odd-job-do-ers stood stand and never will grow up ...nothing at all!

    Unless they prove better life!

    Roxy Music is music.

  • saw him in yeesside before he was famous still sexy ..hahha

  • always find that Bryan's list of songs very suitable to be in all Al Pacino's movies.

  • love this tune,so reminds me ov the very good ol days

  • Grew up with Roxy. Classic music with a bit of manace. Just got to say love it to death and back. Dare you to find something better...

  • Boy I am glad I heard this in clubs and did not have a tv.

It sounds much better, classic song if you don't have to look at the silly staging and outfits. Roxy music is very talented 80s classic.

  • I agree that Ferry looks a twat and a poseur most of the time - but come on!

    The music speaks for itself.

I don't even like Bryan Ferry, but will happily admit that he created some great tunes with Roxy Music.

  • The twat, poseur is all part of "glam rock". It's intentional, but you knew that, cuz you're a fan.

  • Saw him when I was very young and was blown away. Versatile and extremely sexy. Still sexy and I think he is in his 60's. He's got it. mmm

  • Agree!!!

  • excelente

  • i love the rest of the song but that 1:26 bit is pretty lame

  • :-)

  • YEaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHH

    BayyyBBBBBBBBBBBByyyyy!

  • I think the song "Heart Shaped Glasses" by Marilyn Manson is based on this song... or is it just me

  • The great Edwin Jobson

  • classic

  • that's my aunty pat.

    lots of love

    xxx

  • An extremely diverse band. Compare to "More Than This" and "Avalon" other big Roxy hits. This tune was too punk-y for heavy metal fans in the 70s. But definitely ahead of their time... or doing their own thing. Like it or hate it, bands today lack such originality from song to song.

  • The Sickest bassline ever !!!!!!!!!1

  • great bass line

  • i like the music but not the lyrics

  • right wing so and so boooo!

  • Both Bryan Ferry and that pretentious prat Sting come from my hometown. Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Roxy music was part of my youth.

  • i personally prefer Bryan Ferry :)

    Newcastle is cool .;)

  • good muza :D

  • Love is the drug.Love is who we are.

  • Bryan is SO BUTCH in 1st song! WOW!
