I saw the Alice Cooper Band in 1972, at the Rubberbowl, in Akron Ohio. I don't remember which song it was, but Alice was put on a gallows and hanged during the performance. At the end of the show Alice threw posters of the band into the audience; and paper panties were dropped from above!

I remember putting my face so close to the TV in order to drink Alice's gothicky wonderfulness fully into me...not love just a knowing. From then on, my life took a totally different route! Got to meet Glen Buxton shortly before he died. It was amazing to hear him play this live. Hisw funeral was a very sad day for all who knew him, too bad Vince chose not to attend, but atleast the rest of the band was there.
