  • All of the musicians on stage there are/were wonderfully gifted people in their own right- but what makes them even greater is the fact they put asie thier egos and united as one epic tribtue to one epic musician- the man who inspired most of the guys onstage there- his Bobness himslef

  • Neil Young is obviously the only person up there who was rockin' balls out.

  • wow i figured a black hole would appear when the greatest guitarists all gathered and played in a single room

  • quote clapton after townsed came out of the closet, " i know what a woman feels like also" nuf said !! new meaning to slow hand>

  • bob dylan ruins this song live

  • Nah, the mormon tabernacle jam ruins it. Dylan's vocal is spot on, as usual.

  • @joemoe23

  • @joemoe23 how do you say this? its his song its beautiful, he is always just letting it out the way it comes naturally

  • neil is fucking jammin out.

  • its sad. to have a group of friends and people you love. and to be the last one surviving

  • So many amazing musicians!! But seriously, 8 GUITARS looks a little ridiculous!! HaHaaaaaaa!!

  • man what if the Travling Wilburys were George, Tom, Bob, Neil, and Eric... i love the real line up, but with neil young and eric clapton that wouldve been amazing

  • Where and when was this?

  • Neil is the coolest best dressed on that stage

  • Ron Wood is there too

  • ha neil is the man

  • The post concert party must have been fun.

  • Neil is far and away the coolest dude on that stage.

  • silly but awesome

  • roger mc guinn is an asshole... he always try to steal the limelight from other performers.. especially Dylan... i hate this guy... he's a freaking idiot!

true performers don;t try to outdo each other on the stage

  • roger mc guinn is an asshole... he always try to steal the limelight from other performers.. especially Dylan... i hate this guy... he's a freaking idiot!

  • A little love fest between clapper and neil? They rocked on this number...

  • that was a concert of dreams

  • Nimrods, the guy in the pink shirt and the white hat is none other than Paddy Clancy of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. They are the Irish equivalent of the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson all rolled up in band, and every bit as good and every bit as legendary. Their songs are all over YT, perhaps you should check out what did. By the way, Bob Dylan referred to Liam Clancy as the best ballad singer he ever heard if that matters.

  • haha this is a shitshow people look like they just got wild that night

  • Why did Ron Wood feel it necessary to instruct/signal Bob to go in for the second verse so early....He cut out a lot of potential solos doing that?......What a cluster fuck, but at least we can hear Eric above everyone else...

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland lol yeah, its like 'who invited these guys? i only invited eric...' haha

  • @ChrisJericho256 .....Yep, and for God's sake who the hell is the nimrod in the background in the pink shirt and wearing the white hat who can't even clap on beat? Gotta be somebody's over paid manager, no doubt. Sinead O'Connor should be put to sleep just for being there.

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland haha i saw that guy in the pink too...idk who Sinead is tho..

  • @ChrisJericho256 .....She is wearing blue and looks like a Hare Krishna reject from an airport @1:30

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland lmao yeah i see her......haha hare krishana reject...........

  • 5:20 does anyone else hear the bass player playing part of hey joe... lol it sounds like it

  • Tom Petty FTW!

  • ooooh yeah what a great time wish I was there:)

  • George Thorogood is up there to

  • There's no chance anyone on stage can hear what they're playing. True musicians there. Is George Harrison the only one on this stage who is dead now?

  • @beatlestoneful...good spots, but you really need to listen to dylan's voice. It's all part of the package. Oh yeah. You missed Steve Cropper.

  • @beatlestoneful...good spots, but you really need to listen to dylan's voice. It's all part of the package.

  • How Did this happen? it is far to perfect, people simply cannot handle that amount of perfection. I bet the audiences heads were exploding

  • Mcguinn's guitar is freakin awesome

  • Ronnie Woods (Rolling Stones) is in there too i think. Hes in a yellow shirt with a black vest next to George Harrison

  • This is amazing!!

  • OK,thought i saw STEVE PERRY,GEORGE THROGOOD,AND WAS that a stone singing backup with a beatle? saw CASH,AND HIS KID.The only thing bad about it was Bob's voice...but that alway's did suck...wanna hear dylan with a good voice?listen to TOM PETTY>

  • @beatlestoneful bob dylans the best musician up there with eric clapton so stfu

  • @jumpmanJB23 YYEEEHH....YEEEHH.....MMOOOOOOOOOOO SOUND'S LIKE A SHEEP GETTING BUNGHOLED W/OUT VASELINE!!

  • @beatlestoneful no no no that was just the sound your mom made last night

  • How much i would give to have been there. All those music gods on one stage. To be in the same room as them would mesmerize me. Just watching this gave me chills. Amazing.

  • can you imagine if jimmy was there?.........it could have been atomic....

  • this is during the "The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration". really, this is considered one of the best live video in rock history. half the Gods are up there.

  • @invideotape this is the second generation of gods.

  • pretty much, this is what I want to find if I get to Heaven

  • Ron Wood,Johnny Cash, and George Harrison on one mic! AMAZING!

  • And Clapton just rolls out with the most legendary solo emotional riffs you will ever see in your life. What a hero of mine he is.

  • ahaha bob dylan shaking neil young's hand at the end!

  • anyone know when and where this took place?

  • @BluesRockGuitarist this was Bob Dylan's 30th anniversary concert August 24 of 1993.

October 16, 1992, an impressive and eclectic group of artists gathered at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the purpose of celebrating the music of Bob Dylan on the occasion of his 30th anniversary of recording. Bringing together musical greats, the four-hour "Bobfest" was played in front of over 18,000 people and is on CD and DVD.

  • Thats so cool that they covered this Guns n Roses song

  • @Dan7yeah lol you think guns n roses made this song. Bob Dylan wrote this song.

  • @Dan7yeah .. Really? Guns N Roses song? Oh boy.

  • @Dan7yeah

Dude, Dylan wrote this back in 1972/73 for the soundtrack of PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID

  • It would have been so cool if Johnny Cash would have recorded this song before his death.

  • oh my gosh. this is incredible

  • I find Clapton's lead to be rather amazing. But that's just me.

  • god loves eric clapton

  • amazing................

  • was that johnny cash singing with ron wood and george harrison?

  • @reg5381 Hard to believe! Ronnie Wood, George Harrison and Johnny Cash on the same mic.

  • This is how the Monolithic Lawyer Music Cyclops Industry is fucked up: None of these brilliant guys were ever allowed to record together, because of "contractual clauses." Imagine if they had been able to stand up and say, "Fuck off, we're recording together!" Didn't happen until the Traveling Willbury's.

  • COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER

  • bass player playing the wrong chord all the time : D

  • Eric Clapton...... one of the best guitar players in the world.... God bless him, and his son in heaven...

  • Where was this?

  • If I ever wanted someone to play at my funeral it would be Clapton and Neil Young. Clapton is a legend, and Young can simply shred a guitar into the upper sonic world

  • Wow, not to mention George Thorougood at 3:32 and G.E. Smith from the SNL band (with awful bowlcut), this is one of the best jams ever. You know they all got incredibly stoned after this one together.

  • i believe i just shat my pants

  • too much talent on one team

  • You can pick Tom Petty out, just by the way he dances.

  • @coquinkydink

Do you mean Neil Young? Haha

  • And I think I see an unknown C&W guy named Johnny Cash leaning in with George and Ron.

  • and look theres ron wood of the rolling stones.

  • look at neil young go at 2:24, That is his Signature move.... :)))

  • @joycenicole16 looks like neil is the only one really getting down, he just wants to make some noise. clapton's standing there like a fuckin statue, dylan looks utterly miserable, tom petty is a nonentity, george harrison is just doing his thing, i love it

  • Way fun....lovin it....seems they went from Dylan's original to the Guns and Roses version about half way through....wonderful tribute to Bob.

  • don't ever stop Bob, what a treat to have had all this talent on one stage!!!!

  • eric sure can play that guitar. the best n my opinion. makes it sound so beautiful. also dylans version of this is one of my favorite songs

  • Hey assholes bob dylans like 70 here no shit hes got a bad voice now your just jealous because he fucking successful and your not.

  • @Shreadathon12 Meh, some people keep their voices (Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Neil Young) and some people lose them over the years (Roger Daltrey, Bob Dylan) but their music will always be remembered.

  • Yeah, Clapton's guitar is a little too over the top and I noticed he repeats a lot of guitar phrases when he solos. It gets kind of annoying and I think he's a little overrated, but not that much cause he's still a good guitarist in general and songwriter.

  • Bob has the worst voice...ever

  • @AustinD88 bad voice, but great vocalist.

gordon lightfoot - perfectly fine voice, awful vocalist.

  • @AustinD88 That is a very bold statement...

  • Neil's lead guitar fills kinda blends in well. while i find Clapton's lead rather annoying

  • i'd say bob is entitled to sing... seeing as he wrote the song and the show is dedicated to him. what better way than to end it with a true classic?

  • All of this unbelievable talent on stage together, and Bob Dylan does the lead vocals? I like Bob's lyrics, his dedication, his passion, but his voice leaves much to be desired. And Neil, hey buddy, slow down some. Just kidding, I love Neal too. Danke.

  • holy shit, they all got together? there's like 35 guitars on stage

  • what this is crazy
