The death of Saito in "Zero no Tsukaima" and the end of EVERY Clannad Story Arc is significantly more sad and moving than ANY of these terribly picked moments.

Then the youkai threatens to take him anyway, and after not much thought, Natsume agrees, as long as he can 'say goodbye'. This is basically showing that he's given up on humanity in general and that living life as a youkai's toy would be better than how he's living now.

That's pretty good. The really saddest moment in Fruit Basket was the the turn into a seahorse had to make his girlfriend and was soon to be wife forget him. I cried every time I saw that story because he was screw out of having true love, thanks to their leader.
You may not get sad if you just watch the episode but if you watch the full season 1 of negima you'll cry because you get attached to the characters cuz they're do funny I'm disappointed that asuna's temporary death wasn't here I wasn't permanent but if you can make a guy cry

I totally Agree on nr 1, There is no more sadder thing then what happened to Guts in Berserk. I remember when I read the manga and I kinda thought how Guts acted was very selfish and ignorant. But when I came to the chapters during the Eclipse, I forgave him for everything bad he had done. You miss a couple of sad monument but it not your fault:
1. Kikyo death in Inuyasha final act (if u seen it). It made me cry and I hate Kikyo. I read comment after watching that episode and everyone said it made them cry and the hate Kikyo.
2. Another Fruit basket one. It Hortri background story about him and his girlfriend. I felt sorry that Hortri had to lost his love. I cry every time I see that episode. Like you said Fruit Basket has a lot of sad moments.

I honestly think that in FMA:B the saddest moment is when the state alchemist changes his wife, daughter, and dog into chimeras in order to save his status. The dark background, the eyes, the altered voices, the script and the reaction from Edward break your heart, but when the innocent, mutated little girl asks "why are you hurting daddy" you cry. You cry a lot.
Fruits Basket has alot of sad moments. ever see Akito's past about her mother? (i used to hate Akito, because she was such a bitch, but then i saw her mother and was like "wow, that's worse then Akito", so now i don't hate Akito as much..... but i still hate her for hurting Tohru )
You missed Clannad and Angel Beats. And on Higurashi the part with Satoko's death is way sadder than Ruka. FMA wasn't the original, FMA is the one who strayed from the original manga. FMA:B was the original. And on Fruits Basket Hatori's story is (in my opinion) more sad than Momiji's. Other than that, good work.

I cryed in Elfen Lied D: it was sad!!! And yes, you forgot kikyos death in inuyasha ... It was sad but I didn't like her ... And one sad moments in Hitman Reborn!! And Princess tutu when Myuto chose Ru and not duck and duck should've turned back into a human girl and be with Fakir! Lol this is all just my opinion -.-

You miss a couple of sad monument but it not your fault:
1. Kikyo death in Inuyasha final act (if u seen it). It made me cry and I hate Kikyo. I read comment after watching that episode and everyone said it made them cry and the hate Kikyo.
2. Another Fruit basket one. It Hortri background story about him and his girlfriend. I felt sorry that Hortri had to lost his love. I cry every time I see that episode. Like you said Fruit Basket has a lot of sad moments.

NAH. Goku is the worst hero ever. @Yuna425 believe me, if any other character knew how to save the others they wouldn't care about their lives, remember maji vegeta? and King kai did die in that explosion but it really didn't make any difference cause his planet was in the world of the dead already... and where was he supposed to go? he needed a solid place to use the instant transmition... and what better place than a planet which is already in the land of the dead?plus he did save everyone, how can you say for almost nothing?

In my opinion... the saddest is the movie Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection... Watch all series episode and the first movies then watch this one... This was a very unexpected ending for me... and yeah I cried.

@turquoisethehedgehog Yup but remember how they always refer to the legend where if a person helped enough people they get a wish ( or something along those lines sorry i forget some stuff) they would also show the story Nagisa had heard as a child. That was a world where Tomoya realised he wanted to be with Ushio and stuff and all those orbs of light gave Tomoya the chance to turn back time and make the wish that Nagisa and Ushio lived. Tomoya thought it a dream but it wasn't, yeah confusing

I honestly think that in FMA:B the saddest moment is when the state alchemist changes his wife, daughter, and dog into chimeras in order to save his status. The dark background, the eyes, the altered voices, the script and the reaction from Edward break your heart, but when the innocent, mutated little girl asks "why are you hurting daddy" you cry. You cry a lot.

You missed Clannad and Angel Beats. And on Higurashi the part with Satoko's death is way sadder than Ruka. FMA wasn't the original, FMA is the one who strayed from the original manga. FMA:B was the original. And on Fruits Basket Hatori's story is (in my opinion) more sad than Momiji's. Other than that, good work.
