  • I was a fr. playing hs baseball during this time and the -5 bats were ridiculous. You can hear and feel the difference between the -5 bats and the ones that are used today. Although, the players of that decade were a bit more beefy than they are now. Also, it's weird how the uniforms seem to be cut larger after the steroid debacle broke the news (baseball is image conscience). Steroids were definitely around but you didn't cry foul at the time. All I can say is innocent until proven guilty.

  • if tht guy at :48 wouldnt have slipped he woulda been safe

  • I used a ccore -5 easton bat..they stopped making them a yr or two later...

  • roids i mean..Geaux Tigers..they are about to win it!

  • hey guys ..I wasnt juiced back then..I think the bats made all the difference in the world and we had a hek of a weight program..No rids in those days..Brandon Larson

  • Gorilla Ball

  • Brandon Larson and LSU....the "Juice" was loose back then.

LSU owes a lot of its success to anabolic steroids.

  • Proof?

  • Sure, there is proof.

  • Cool. Link?

  • You do realize that the team LSU played against in the championship BARELY trailed LSU in HRs that year? And that Larson was the only one on the team with more than 25 HRs? If LSU was juiced that year, everyone was juiced.

  • probably lol

  • wat kind of bats did they use?

  • i don't know but i know LSU is probably the reason the NCAA made every team change their bats

  • All Hail Brandon Larson and the LSU Tigers!!! 5-time NCAA champs!!! Geaux Tigers!!!
