Absolutely. Gi is great and I do plenty myself. It helps my no gi game too. Yes that is BJ Penn. BJ is a world class fighter but has absolute respect and admiration for Rigan. Rightfully so. The guy is a living legend. If you can train with him by all means do so.
Do not hesitate, about the GI... Rigan is one of the best BJJ guys in the world... The Gi creares a much tighter game, and is easier to learn... All of the best Submition guys, have trained extensively with the GI...
It is obviously also important to train without, but either way, cant go wrong with Machado's and Rigan in particular
I want to see Rigan squash BJ in his side mount.

I hear you guys only train gi up there. Is that true? I've been thinking about training with him, but I'm not too sure about the gi.
