The slave trade was started by the Arabs. The Arabs were the one's enslaving the blacks in Africa. The beginning origin of the enslavement of black men started when the demand for body guards to guard harems all over the Arab world. They were selling physically strong black males through the slave trade routes originally for this purpose. The Arabs castrated these poor slaves to insure that they could never have sex with any of their wives. This is the true history of slavery.

I feel you. But check it. In what type of business is 25% acceptable? That type of profit would not be a profit at all. Since you incurred the cost of transporting say 1000 people and only get paid for 250. That is not sound in any business venture and the SLAVERY was surely a business venture. Think about it on a street level. If someone gives you 1000 dollars worth of drugs and you give them $250 back later on. Neither of you would "BE GOOD", and your life would probably be over.

Yeah they shipped them but WHY ship 1000 & only arrive with 250, when you could just ship 400 & arrive with 400? When they ship your meat today (cows, chickens, etc) they don't just pile them on a boat or in a truck. they do it in a manner to ensure they get ALL the LIVESTOCK to the location to get ALL the money. Part of the TRICK of telling you that your people were Piled up this way is so you can be used to SEE your people as being TRASH, not worth of very much.

Please there was a slave trade and it started on the Gold Coast. Its started due to commidities trading not purpose of slaves. People were bought because they were interested in provided food, cotton and products for a greater purpose.
