Nice. That guy's head is so empty it looks like his thoughts are causing great discomfort. Any intelligent being can only point to what evidence is out there and admit ignorance on the rest. LOVE IT! I'm not atheist.. I'm very spiritual, but don't mouth out crap from Genesis because you have no real opinion except for what you've been conditioned with. Science is very important to understanding spirituality.. and I don't have to judge those who aren't spiritual. My truth may only be my opinion, and in my opinion atheist are light years toward the truth than bible-beaters. Finally, all I ask is that a man/woman be a decent human being. Something lacking in religion. Great vid!

i appreciate that you always say you are learning. that is a very good thing. again though, i was talking about before the Big Bang. Judaism has been around the longest though for over 4000 years at least. anything that would come close is the absent of a belief but the absence of a belief is not a belief, neither is paganism. its just a way of viewing the world without having faith in anything.

The only reason you say before the Big Bang is because that's the current frontier of science.

In the Middle Ages, people who follow that thinking style would've proclaimed that Atlas held up the Earth because we didn't yet understand gravity and why the Earth didn't fall. It's dangerous and very ignorant to proclaim we'll never know something and assume it's magic.

Re: the age of beliefs, the purpose is to show that humanity has no special link to Judaism or Christianity.

once again reasoning with a staunch theist involves basically using child-reasoning, and slow building of logic. We are after all, dealing with a child's mind. I must ask though, and this is a hopelessely ignorant and ill-researched question...are there many other black US atheists like yourself>? they are seldom seen in the media, we usually see them on the religious side, ie. muslim apologists or black women being conned by televangelists. excuse the cultural ignorance!
