@Myrtone oh be quiet!! I can remember when music was played for free by musicians who only cared about entertaining people. Bob Dylan was one of the original firm believers in that... think woodstock!!

Don't care if there is static. At least it is the original and not someone trying to sing Bob Dylan. We loved it then and that's how these songs were played! Loved his music especially his album "Saved" Who ever thought Dylan would be singin about Jesus? We were so stoked when he was singing these songs in 1979, 1980.

I was so pissed off trying to find an original Dylan version of this song, then i found this. After reading the comments on here, i can see i am not alone. What's the deal? Is this copyrighted or something? Nothing but lousy covers on here. Your post was not great on the quality side, but i think this is the only original. Thanks!

People complaining about the vinyl rice krispies and analog sound. When we heard great songs on the AM radio and vinyl during this time period we would listen all the way through no matter what because the song was great regardless of radio static, a station fading out of range, a record that after continuous plays of joy acquired scratches, the needle wearing down, or dust from the air. We had a reason to listen and love music. Awesome post! Thank you.
