@asherett Thank you! The drums aren't sampled at all! It's just manipulated noise/static that I made sound like drums :) Hmm, like a little similar to the drums used in the Legend of Zelda Overworld theme I believe. It's all pure 8-bit from the tracker!

Ha ha, I was wondering when someone was going to get round to making 8-bit versions of his tunes, considering they pretty much sound like old 8-bit console tunes arranged for the guitar anyway. Very well done, I look forward to future releases.

Someone should make an 8-bit style game where Dobson is in a Double Dragon style situation but uses his guitar playing to explode the heads of the bad guys while using your remixes as the music. Or some other silly game idea of that nature.

Have you read the description? It's made in Famitracker. I'm not able to "dump" complex midi files into that tracker. I only used the trackers resources to make this "remix", and as I hope you know (by commenting what you did) that the tracker not is very complex. It doesn't use "terrible" chiptune samples, it uses real 8-bit sounds made by the program. I wanted it so sound the way it could have sounded if it would have been made in the late 80's, and therefore it sounds the way it does. Thanks.

This is a terrible "remix". It's like you took the tabs and did a straight dump to midi and applied terrible chiptune samples to the channels. Try adding volume envelopes so you don't get a droning sound when the same note repeats. This isn't a worthy attempt at Ewan's awesome song.
