Nice job! This is one of my favourite works. Everyone knows the first movement, but I think this one is better. And don't let anyone get all nasty to you about the mistakes. I'm sure it was a combination of nerves and the fact that this work is so hard. I thought it was awesome, and it can only get better from here right?! So awesome job and good luck! I remember playing this piece and having sooooooo much fun with it haha.
O_o This is one of the best versions of this mvt I've heard on here...besides the pros that is. xD I love the speed and interpretation. =) I wonder how long did it take you to play it like that? o.o
How long did it take you to learn this piece to the level you're currently at? I'm currently playing mvt 1 and 2. Mvt 3, however, seems a lot more complicated - want to know if I can manage to learn it on the summer holidays.
Depends on your skill. If you know enough about theory, mainly harmonic progressions and counterpoint than this piece is not as daunting as you might think. I worked on it for about 2 months before playing it from memory in a recital. My mentor on the other hand, sightread it in front of me. So yeah, depends. But find a recording by Paul Badura-Skoda even if you have to buy it. I've listened to more renditions than I can name and his blows the rest away. Good luck.
Amazing! How long did it take you to learn the third movement?
I've recently finished the first movement, and now I'm working on the second movement, which I don't expect to take too long, because it's quite short. But the third movement is much longer and exponentially more challenging. What an incredible piece; you've played it very well!
Wauw, ontzettend knap..! Heb je er lang over gedaan om dit te leren? Dit is echt een van de stukken waar ik naartoe werk met piano.. Lijkt me fantastisch om te kunnen spelen..! Super..!
i liked it very very much. i showed it to my mom (who is one of beethoven's greeaat fans) and found it magnificent! good job mate! and thanks for the link...
Hardly anyone notices mistakes in piano pieces unless they are excellent at hearing the tone etc... I agree with below, nice playing and you have potential!
mistakes! Who cares! The passion and feeling is here and that is more important than a few mistakes. So long as you have passion for music, or anything, for that matter, the rest comes with a little work. I would love to hear you in person.
Making a mistake on a piano means nothing, a lot of people do and it's hardly ever noticed. Mainly due to the fact that the piano has a great ability of hiding mistakes well, unlike other instruments. You did very exceptional.
Seemed a little too fast in some parts, and yes, the left hand is a tad bit too loud. Also, it seems some parts (especially after climbing up in the beginning (in lack of better words) were not "hard" enough. Maybe that's just my being used to a different version.
Nice pedaling. It IS hard to keep a steady tempo though. a very soft one ear piece metronome while practicing a few times will show you where you have a tendency to rush.
very very good work man u should be proud nicenincie, just try keeping the hands at the right playing time and tempo eahch hand (easirer said than done) and it will turn perfect!

You don't keep a consistent tempo, but it was very nice regardless. :)
