@mba2ceo So working for Mcdonalds isn't also wage slavery? If you want to have a Marxist position its fine, but don't have one just to bash education.
I'm a Columbia alumni. My tuition was $17,000 per semester. I graduated with MS degree. I've been unemployed for 2 years. Now I have a mountain of debt. I threw away my money and youth to study. Now I can't qualify for welfare, food stamps, unemployment. I'm fucked. BTW I'm loosing all my stuff, and i'm going to be homeless. Don't be a sucker sheeple! Through tuition hikes--You're paying for the pensions and entitlements and lining the pockets of politicians. Thank you and merry x-mas.
This has been a growing trend for quite some time - the issue will continue as corporations continue to down size and more and more people are looking for jobs keeps growing and growing.
Tell me something I don't know. I was listening to an Alex Jones clip from 2009 and he said that the only reason why major banks have laid off their bank retailers like tellers and such is because they're trying to make room to pay for those corporate businesses.
HAHA As long as the government provides loans to students to pursue more advanced degrees, college tuition will continue to be high and even increase.
@1XMarksSpot :)) You have to understand, (Aaron Russo), Gerald Celente , Peter Schiff, Ron Paul, all those are old, worry much for their own security and welfare, and will be gone. While the bright and intelligent ones are working for rich companies. You will have to be a leader for yourself, using your own judgment. :))
well, its not just in russia so don't feel too bad. even if this was probably caused by our lovely government here in america ruining the world economy
Oh it's not the government. It's the Federal Reserve - a private banking cartel. It can produce depressions and prosperity by decreasing and increasing the money supply, since the Federal Reserve PRINTS THE MONEY!!
@1XMarksSpot The federal reserve is run by a board of governors, who in turn work for the government. The national treasurer is the main man in charge, and thats Timothy Geithner.
