So for training power you need explosive movements. Generally what will be done is ballistic movements if in the field such as med ball throws, bounding or jump squats, whereas in the gym you may require specialised equipment such as bungies, or you do ballistic style movements such as push presses, power cleans or snatches..

@310stanger why on earth would you do cardio straight after, when ur depleted? that is way too old school, you have gone too catabolic. Use Intense Cardio Exercise (ICE) or HIIT for a mx of 25 minutes a couple times per week. That is all you need. That is basically what Skip LaCour used when he won several natual Mr Olympias..

WOW WHAT AN UPPER BODY WORKOUT!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!! I was doing it all wrong, I cant wait to put this new upperbody workout into action. 30 min cardio warm-up then 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps, and call it a day. Thanks for enlightening me and Jared to a proper upper body workout.
