There were English subtitles on the cinema release but for some inexplicable reason there are no English subtitles on the recently released 5 DVD box set of the director which includes Black Box BRD (there are English subtitles on the DVD but not for this film!!). The only hope is some kind German-English speaker translates and transcribes the film (if there is anyone who can help I would be happy to make some SRT subs or re-code the film and burn them into it...so want to understand this doc!
