The two adults and all those babies are precious ! It breaks my heart that we can't save all dogs from harm, fighting rings, and abuse. Rescue dogs give so much love back to their families. This video is a prime example.
You are amazing! Pit bulls have such bad reputations, so many people don't know how amazing they can be. I have 5 pit bulls and 2 young kids. I was abit worried at first but the pups don't care my baby girl pulls their ears and tails, she lyes on them and they just lick her!

I just recently rescued a tiny 2 year old chihuahua who was attacked by another dog. My pit loves her and my cats and acts as their protector. You are a great person!
Nice thing you're doing. But it keeps me wandering - what would a dog made for fighting do when not allowed to fight? Evolution, even mis-targeted by human, doesn't like anything pointless - I don't believe it is a coincidence that a muscle growth and aggression are stimulated by the same hormone. One is useless without the another. I don't like dogs fighting too, so'd like to ask - have you found anything that could replace a fighting for them?

i noticed to dont neuture the males i wonder is there a way to sterlise them withot removing the testicles ,cos alot of males tend to get fat and lose there personalties when you do that, but def spay the females it doesnt seem to affect them so much in my past experience
Great job not many people will take on pits especially fighting ones. I wish pit bulls were legal in the UK they are beautiful, loyal, loving dogs but people only see the bad side. No animal is born mean :)

so they were ALL from fighting? wow. never actually seen a apbt used in fighting, ive only seen rotweillers. i own 2 pits and a twch. those dogs look cute. especially brutis. but then, all pit bull s look like they are smiling every moment of the day, even when they sleep!

Am so sure that pitbull rescues can generate their own electricity by simply putting the dogs
on treadmills that are hooked up to a power generator or something along those lines, am not very educaded but I think is something worth looking into.

I LOVE YOU!!! I'm actually in process of opening a huge NO KILL Pitbull Safehouse. Where I too, will take in mistreated/homeless/fighter pits and rehome them after retraining if necessary. And I will be fixing all of them too so I know people dont use them for backyard breeding. I think all pitbulls deserve a great life with a family that loves them! And Im gonna dedicate my life to helping as much as I can. Ive got pitbulls myself, and they have opened my eyes. My whole life, Ive been w pits.

I will. It's going to be super hard to get started up but it will be well worth the effort. My motivation is my beautiful girls, Keada and Myah. Knowing how wonderful of pitbulls they are, makes me want to help other pitbulls have the chance at a happy life like they have. They are rotten to the core with love. My parents call them their grand daughters. :)

I don't know what got me onto PETA's stance, other than seeing the video and believing in pit bull rescue myself. These dogs deserve a chance, and if PETA doesn't recognize that, then I think they should leave pit rescue to people who have a clue. I've seen a few pits come from fighting situations and you would never know it seeing them today, some even thriving in multiple dog homes. I'm looking forward to caring for one from the recent 5 state bust when all the red tape gets sorted out.

I'm not fond of their support of BSL either (to say the least). Also quoted from the Charlotte Dog Rescue Examiner:
PETA has been under fire for their alarming euthanasia rate. In 2006, they reported killing 2,981 animals while only adopting out 12. This is the same group that believes eliminating the breed will eliminate the suffering.
The PETA quote that really steamed me, and I can't find right now essentially took the position that rescuing fighters posed a public safety risk.

no and i have proof i have saved several dogs that were fought all their lives they now live indoors and you would never know they had ever fought except for scars that were left behind, they can be rehabilitated
barbara! there`s no price to pay what you do! Animals need more people like you, yesterday i wached a documental on animal planet about pits, i think it was sothafrica, they rescued 12 pits that had been used to fight for a long time, unfortunatly they had to kill eleven of them becouse they "said" that the dogs were too agresive to get them a new owner,
I'll never understand people that put those dogs through so much abuse for their own entertainment or financial gain, anyone who does that has serious psychological problems. The fact that so many abused pits are able to be rehabilitated is a testament to the breed, and it absolutely disgusts me that PETA thinks all fighting dogs should be euthanized. I wish they would refrain from taking a stance about something when their opinion is clearly one of ignorance.

i am a new owner of my very first pit bull pup, she is now 4 months old.
i got her when she was 3 months old, her previous owner brought her to my house before work one morning and told me that her husband threw her and broke her leg because she had an accident.
sadly i was told that her 10 brothers and sisters all went to one person because the breeder was irresponsible. only one thing can be going on there

they are on runner cables that are 20 ft wide and 30 ft long they have a lot of room to run and play with each other they also have a yard they they go in to just freely run they go on car rides and get walked to try to socailize them with other people and animals i have 19 most of them former fighters so i'm limited on how to house them

but its not easy to have theme here, because its forbitten and very expensive in germany, you have to make many tests and spend a lot of money for: pitpulls, dogo argentino, dobermann....

I don't know what got me onto PETA's stance, other than seeing the video and believing in pit bull rescue myself. These dogs deserve a chance, and if PETA doesn't recognize that, then I think they should leave pit rescue to people who have a clue. I've seen a few pits come from fighting situations and you would never know it seeing them today, some even thriving in multiple dog homes. I'm looking forward to caring for one from the recent 5 state bust when all the red tape gets sorted out.

I'm not fond of their support of BSL either (to say the least). Also quoted from the Charlotte Dog Rescue Examiner:
PETA has been under fire for their alarming euthanasia rate. In 2006, they reported killing 2,981 animals while only adopting out 12. This is the same group that believes eliminating the breed will eliminate the suffering.
The PETA quote that really steamed me, and I can't find right now essentially took the position that rescuing fighters posed a public safety risk.

no and i have proof i have saved several dogs that were fought all their lives they now live indoors and you would never know they had ever fought except for scars that were left behind, they can be rehabilitated

Animals need more people like you, yesterday i wached a documental on animal planet about pits, i think it was sothafrica, they rescued 12 pits that had been used to fight for a long time, unfortunatly they had to kill eleven of them becouse they "said" that the dogs were too agresive to get them a new owner,

I'll never understand people that put those dogs through so much abuse for their own entertainment or financial gain, anyone who does that has serious psychological problems. The fact that so many abused pits are able to be rehabilitated is a testament to the breed, and it absolutely disgusts me that PETA thinks all fighting dogs should be euthanized. I wish they would refrain from taking a stance about something when their opinion is clearly one of ignorance.

i am a new owner of my very first pit bull pup, she is now 4 months old.
i got her when she was 3 months old, her previous owner brought her to my house before work one morning and told me that her husband threw her and broke her leg because she had an accident.
sadly i was told that her 10 brothers and sisters all went to one person because the breeder was irresponsible. only one thing can be going on there

Its sad to see people giving these Breeds such a bad name :( i actually did research and found out that other dogs like border collies and labs attack more people every year more than any bull terrier breed, but they dont go all over the front page? full credit to you sweetheart,these are an awesome loving breed and they are only the way they are because of so called human beings. with the rite love and attention they are a placid energetic breed. golden retrievers and labaradors are more renowned to attack children thats not singling out other breeds just seems it gets brushd under the carpet, but wen u ere about a pit bull difrent story then. its such a shame

Well done barb! i wish there were more ppl like you in this world! i have two pitbulls and they are so loving and loyal, sometimes i just look at them and get so over joyed knowing they ended up with me and not some idiot who would abuse or fight them! there are happy endings for them out there, just not enough more ppl need to be educated about these breeds!

thanks for watching, some are easier than others depending on how much fighting they have done i have a couple that i don't know if they will be rehabilitated to associate with other dogs or not most of them can though and i have had great success overall thank you for your comment

I am so glad that you're helping these lovely dogs from the cruelty most are subjected to. They are such beautiful loving creatures, yet sadly too many evil people are abusing them for greed. they are on runner cables that are 20 ft wide and 30 ft long they have a lot of room to run and play with each other they also have a yard they they go in to just freely run they go on car rides and get walked to try to socailize them with other people and animals i have 19 most of them former fighters so i'm limited on how to house them

but its not easy to have theme here, because its forbitten and very expensive in germany, you have to make many tests and spend a lot of money for: pitpulls, dogo argentino, dobermann....
