  • This was a good game, but not as good as the 3rd & 1st

  • Ok, let's give Eidos a break on this one. Everyone makes mistakes, right? Nah, Invisible was too awful to forgive. My theory is that they had something awesome planned, but 9/11 caused some major problems. (Since terrorism is a large factor in the franchise)

  • So you can play as either Alex Denton or...what? Alexia? Alexis? Alexandra Denton? Awesome :)

  • To clarify any matters, these are the dates in which all the Deus Ex (single player) games are set:

    - Deus Ex: Human Revolution (2027)

    - Deus Ex (2052)

    - Deus Ex: Invisible War (2072)

  • I'm pretty sure the trains can't fly in HR. The track is just above the train rather than below it (they are hanging basically)

And the cars definitely don't fly.

  • I like how the cars are still driving on the road and helicopters still have propellars but in human revolution the cars fly and the helicopters are more futuristic.

  • @FlipDare yeah an Human Revolution is supose to be a prequel

  • @FlipDare

No. In HR, cars are pretty much the same like nowadays. But trains can fly, which is an absolute bullshit.

  • @FlipDare

    -

The cars dont fly in DX:HR

  • The game's not too bad, but the tagline is hilariously contrived: "THE FUTURE WAR ON TERROR"

  • The fucking thing is exiting when I try to save. Nuff said!

  • thumbs up if you watching this video on 2011 and you say "I have to play this game!"

  • @RubinCostatic always wanted this game ever since it came out when i wass real young could never afford it, torrents baby!

  • @RubinCostatic Played already ;) Though now I want to buy it again! :(

  • What is the device that the Templar uses? And what came out of it?

  • No one can replace Jesus Christ. (JC)

  • I honestly don't understand everyone's problem with this game. I played both Deus Ex and this sequel, and they're two of my favorite games of all time. Yes, the second didn't have a lot of the RPG elements of the first, but I still became immersed in the world, and for me, that's what counts. Both are great games.

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!

  • I love how they're all calm and cool even though millions of people just died.

  • Is that Walton Simons voice actor?

  • I loved this game!

  • ok, so is this the second installment that i keep hearingi s absolutely horrible?

  • I'd play this game if it had some cheats...

  • the worst male voice actor ever...

  • anybody elese notice Walton Simon's voice at the beginning!!????!!

  • At 0:40 i crapped my pants...

cause i actually (back in deus ex ) i let walton simons run away after i did serious damage to him and thought what a coward.

then i thought to myself...what have i done?

then 0:53 saw a new face and i just was completely relieved and dumbfounded | )

  • My bro bought a computer and this game was already installed in it. Let's say for a few months i was using that computer a lot hhaha

  • Ok this game was amazing! I was immersed in this fictional word because im a geek. Moral choices, weird funny people, conspiracies, great music, awesome guns, assassin feel, man this game had it all. If part 3 is anything like this one then ill shit myself.

  • can someone tell me the whole deux series?

  • @cianw10 Deus Ex: The Conspiracy is the first one, then Deus Ex: Invisible War, and then Deus Ex 3 is in production.

  • @Kwask12 not deus ex 3 Deus ex Human revolution

  • Billie Adams is strangely cute...

2:21, Epic violin version of the Deus Ex Theme

  • Comment removed

  • Anybody else notice that in Deus Ex and IW they used helicopters but in Human Revolution they're gonna have hoverplanes?

  • i love this game i have the 1st one Deus Ex The Conspiracy for ps2 still 1st copy of the game i ever bought and it still in mint condition and playable and im never giving away or selling my game

  • The funny thing is this intro had little to do with the actual game I mean what happened to Chicago? You never got to go to Chicago and what was that thing the terrorist detonated?

  • @TailsYay All we know is that the whole City was destroyed because the Templars wanted to destroy prob only one Tarsus/Apostle Corp building. And they never mentioned that "thing" the terrorist used. To me it seems like a failed attempt at making the game dramatic. I'm not American and I asked myself if there ever were any reactions in the US to such an event in a game 3 years after 9/11. It's kinda hard to imagine the same ppl who came up with the Deus Ex plot writing such a story. O_o

  • I haven't played the game in a good 6 years, but judging by what one of my friends told me about it, as he said it's the "3 Thumbs Up version of Fighting Force 2 and/or the RPG version of Perfect Dark", my mouth is dripping...

  • Great game. One of the best imo.

  • horrible quality. why even bother?

  • Walton...?

  • awesome game, so many endings, omar ending owns all (Y)

  • this game was great

  • 0:40 Hey, it's Walton Simons! HAIII WALLY

  • damn, i cant remember anything about this game. like i've never played it

  • @TheCoCkTa1l Yeah it's a bit lifeless compared to Deus Ex

  • i liked this game

  • i wonder how they could stop a replicating swarm of nanites that consume a city in minutes

  • @16SKB

electro plamsatic diffusion - in real life - particle destabilization. A Hiroshima, Nagasaki could do it - or an energy weapon via helicopter or something related t could do it. Your dealing with Nanites -your dealing with mini computers- short circuit them - stop the plague.

  • Don't you mean EMP? While nuking them would be somewhat effective, an energy pulse a nuke (EMP) will burn out every electrical system. BUT, we can already make transistors out of just a few molocules, what if these are simply synthetic organisms, eating everything, constructing new organisms that do the same thing. EMP has no serious effect on living things.... Anyway, i hope we'll come with a solution for all of this before can make nanites. *Wondering what the future brings*

  • EMP pulse could work. Or microwaves.

  • i played the demo like four years ago and all i remember is having to turn all your weapons to someone before you enter a bar or a club or something

  • Okay, is that Walton Simons again?? Didn't I kill that bitch in the first game?? Or is that guy just some other person with Walton's voice actor??

  • original was better

  • jesus christ, denton

  • Although it was pretty good, this game was a disappointment. What a shame.

  • Deus ex is WAY better than this even though the second deus ex has better graphics

  • This game was FAR superior to Perfect dark .. back in the day .. I mean just LOOK at it.. and LOOK at the way perfect dark played... 2 futuristic games.... but 1 was open ended and the other just plain linear... .. Personally i think this game and Perfect dark proves just how different consoles vs pcs are.

  • The two games in this series were ported to consoles.

  • Perfect dark came out in 2000,this came out in 03.

  • @Edwardscissorhands10

    100% not true.

    Release date(s) NA June 22, 2000 (WIN)

    Check the wiki.

Perfect Dark was still released 1st anyways doenst mean shit though.

  • @Sicj nope pd came out 2000,Dues ex invisible war came out in 03. and it does mean shit,3 year difference

  • when was this game made? im downloading the torrent :P

  • 2003

  • i have problems with 1.2 patch... its quite common.. "old file not found"

    does anybody knows anything?

  • (ok i solved it)

  • So many small things could have been changed and kept the same as DX1 and then this game would be perfect.

  • i remember playing this back in 04' awsome game! only demo and first couple of levels though but still awsome!

  • the only reason it got such a bad reputation is because it had so much to live up to

every one loved deus ex 1 and so they expected number 2 to be just as good

  • who is this slut that thinks she can replace Jc?

  • @czerwonymike One of the clones from the lab at the end of Deus Ex.

  • @czerwonymike haha, its bille adams.. the girl thats your friend at the begining.

  • @czerwonymike His clone?

  • I dont care what people say, I loved this game :)

  • Ive got to aggree with you, cant get enough of this game completed it iver and over again tryingto find a way to get better stuff, more money etc etc :D WOOO

  • Shifter mod made me play it again on unreal-istic, totally hilarious!

  • Good for you! I loved the 1st game, and although I can to a point agree with many people's disappointment, I still did enjoy playing DX2.

  • OMG... have been played only the german version of DXII but by hearing this english voice acting I notice that this voice in the intro is the same voice speaking Walton Simons in DXI. Awesome.

  • some one do a playthrough

  • I never got far enough to know what the storyline really was, I guess I kept playing it on my own when I was about 10 and all the dark places scared the the living daylight out of me, if I didn't have this daft Vista, my laptop would allow the game so I could play it and get to know what it's really actually all about, I guess Windows Vista is a bit rubbish in places... My advice now is NOT TO GET VISTA COZ IT WONT ALLOW GREAT GAMES SUCh AS THIS ONE!!!!

  • Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Play the original Deus Ex instead.

  • I say not,bonchbonch...

Play DX2 and AFTER that play DX1,that way you can`t be dissapointed :P

  • Is that powerful guys JC Denton???

  • wow!the cinematics are great!

  • I agre with cata, i think it's the same actor!

  • Hmmm... The security bots look like the turrets in Battlezone 2.

  • whats the story about that one i totally forgotten it

  • LOL!!! the new worlds sucide bombers lolz

  • i have this game i just played it a bit. And wtf was that crazy infected dog with a guy on that house X_X it scared meeeeh

  • the guy talking sounds like walton simons from the first deus ex

  • your right, at the end the voice is pretty much exactly the same as bob page's on the first game

  • OMG this is awsome.

  • First veiw and comment, anyways great vid 5/5 for me.
