You're great! I've been obsessed with ginger and ginger ale for some time and finally you showed me the way to an easy recipe! I've been peeling and using a garlic press prior.
Yummy! Ginger ale! I love this show so much. Wouldn't it be great if everyone that loved it posted a comment?? I think everyone should show their appreciation by posting comments and getting WTF?! more noticed on youtube!!
@danieldelaney Just did that this morning kind sir. You can find me on facebook under my shop name: Gypsy Wagon. Yes, there you will see your face plastered.
Alton Brown did an Good Eats episode on ginger and how to make ginger ale. But you way is much more simpler, so I'm gonna mos def try this tomorrow! Thanks Dan and keep those WTFs coming!
mm ginger =-) its my favorite flavor to put in almost everything. My favorite thing is pickled ginger (the stuff you get with sushi), and not to spam your channel but I have a video on my channel on how to make it =-) I like your video but... I'm not a big fan of ginger ale lol
How much ginger would you need per cup of water/sugar?

Nice! I may have to try this since my hubby loves ginger ale! What do you do with the leftover ginger root after it's cooked and removed?
aglanceatmyworld 10 months ago
@aglanceatmyworld If you peel it first, and slice it, you can candy it the way we did with Galangal!

@PlatypusGuitar Haha! Yes. Though, there is a Jamaican soda called Champagne Kola - which tastes like bubble gum. Don't know how that ranks...

@danieldelaney His process involved yeast for fermentation and some other things that I can't remember just now. But I recommend you give it a look.
