  • he forgot also the coronary sinus, which drain blood from the muscles of the heart

  • why is the left on the right?

  • @thunderinthevalley It's like if you drew it on some paper and held it up to yourself. The right would be your left and the left would be your right.

  • Heart matters, ahh! I've never been good at those, =(

  • Watch Osmosis Jones.

  •  but sounds like steven hawking

  • Open murders by the German BND which is the renamed GESTAPO:

  • ok vid.

  • Short but concise way to explain how the heart works, thank you!

  • hearts are tasty

  • can the man's voice get any more dull?? -.- ZZzzZZzz

  • @Theitzybitzy im afraid its not all scrubs or greys anatomy

  • @fusi0n556 if only it was .... :(

  • @fusi0n556 WTF?! My whole life has been a lie!!

  • very good video..hope i get a good mark for half yearly's FINGERS CROSSED!!!

  • That was actually by far, WAY more helpful then all the other videos I have watched. Holy crap, go figure the dully narrated voice would be better then some douche bag making a song out of it.

  • Can you please answer me? My question is: Can you live with only two heart Chambers?

  • Hi Corinna - no, you can't. You need the two chambers on the right to collect the blood from the body and pump it to the lungs. The two chambers on the left of the heart are required to collect the blood from the lungs and pump it around the body. If we had only one chamber on each side, it would become overwhelmed with blood and would not be able to pump it. Hope that makes sense - this video might help: H04d3rJCLCE

  • @Corinna7799 There is a disease of having only a ventricle and atrium, don't remember how it's called. It reduces Your durability and stamina, but You can live with it if You survived the first 15 years.

  • This was very short and sweet, and most helpful indeed.

  • 5*

    Peace and Love!

  • ohno , my exams r coming and imma stil confused over this .

  • I gotta know this for my test tomorrow... well actualy my test was today but I didn't know this and I only got to bed at 3:00 am (I'm usually in bed by 2:00 anyways) and last night I was coughing and almost it felt like the gastric juices went up my throat and really early in the morning I barfed so I couldn't go to school :P But now I have extra time to study... :D gross I know but know I can study

    *happy dance*

  • i always listen to this video when i cant sleep i snore in like.....zZzZzZ sorry felt asleep again 10 seconds..

  • this narrator creeps me out for some reason. he should do horror movies.

  • The video was good and to the point but you forgot to mention the aortic semilunar valve. :)

  • good call, but still good info

  • The Prophet peace be upon him (The hearts of the sons of Adam are between two fingers Rahman beat as one, spend as he wants, then he said the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him: O bank exchange hearts of our hearts for your obedience) (Narrated by Muslim ) (4798

  • Oh now after looking at 4-5 others, this is my favorite. It is simple, succinct and to the point (at the risk of being recognized as redundant). ;o)

Seriously, this will really help me in my test tomorrow.

  • So how was the test? :)

  • How cool of you to ask. I aced it!

    =o)

  • @G2DaRuff I am glad for you, man! My turn to pass or fail will be in May)))

  • Surprise! I'm not a man! =o)

And I'm sure you will ace it too!

    Best wishes...

  • Very detailed explenation on the audio part, however the visual part was very difficult to understand. The labelling didn't match according to the steps given by the voiceover.

  • lagging subtitles

  • really good and concise and to the point.

  • very nice brief explanation...

  • Thanks all of these explanations are clear and concise and help breakdown the material in a simple step by step process.

  • correct flamesden.....

  • @tbone290 so, this video is not correct?

  • this thing is good :)

  • i am getting good results from Levodyn, i am feeling great and i am having good blood pressure since i started taking it.

  • flamesden is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really helpful

  • the oxygen only goes OUT through the pulmonary artery not through the pulmonary vein

    roshaan

  • @FLAMESDEN

Hi, so this video is not accurate?

  • I think this is going to help me since i am failing science

  • This is so good. It'll help me get through my 1st year student nurse exam on 15 June!

  • wow you should know this stop from 9th grade biology.. if your a nurse then you should be learning this stuff at a much deeper level.. cheers

  • As I said, I am a *student*, who *will* be learning this stuff at a much deeper level during the course. Thanks for the unnecessary criticism.

  • not every school teaches biology as a subject, some just teach science in general and don't give you much help with it. I'm studying to be an aromatherapist. Currently taking Health and Social Care Alevel and art at the moment but I have to do an additional 2 alevels to the ones I'm doing now to understand Biology and Business After I've finished year 13 as an adult. This should really help me with my care of the elderly module =]

  • wow i learned the parts of the heart

  • Excelente!

  • what a help! thx

  • mui buen video, me ayudò para entender la clase de fisiologia, grax

  • this really helps! thnx

  • thank you for this video , it halped me

  • great!

  • thanks :]

  • excellent video! The 2 semilunar valves 1 for the aorta=aortic semilunarvalve. 2 Pulmonary semilunary valve. Pulmonary=to and from the lungs via veins and arteries. pulmonary veins dump O2 rich blood into the left atrium. pulmonary arteries deliver O2 deficiant blood to the lungs via the right atrium and ventricle. the aorta delivers O2 richblood to the body.

  • wow,,,,

  • the diagram they have in my book is way different from this one. It shows the vena cavas both are next to eachother. And they spelled atrium as auricle. My books really suck

  • during my school days, i was taught that atrium is also called as auricle. then i learned that both are different. but my lecturers still accept both words.

  • He forgot the Aortic valve which is the fourth valve in the heart. Blood is pumped from the left ventricle through the Aoric valve into the Aorta artery. Otherwise, it was perfectly narrated.

  • SIMPLE AND USEFUL

    IT WAS SO GOOD
