this depth pop music cannot reach. without our mighty god where is the depth? only emotional love songs of a man or a woman loosing a man or a woman, or expressing the desire of wanting to be loved or expressing the pain of a love that is not returned or something like this.
It's always difficult to say whitch version of a song is the best. But you should at least listen to: "Mahalia Jackson How Great Thou Art" and "Juanita Brooks How Great Thou Art" on Youtube
Catholics are Christians. It was the Protestants who broke away from the Catholic Church. Anyway, Socrates believed in God, he believed in the first Cause and the Unmoved Mover. The Greeks made him drink hemlock because he didn't believe in the Greek gods. That's why they called him an "atheist" though, he wasn't by our modern definition. He did believe in God. So did Plato, and so did Aristotle.
Martin Luther in the 1500's saw how the Catholic church was saying how one can only get to heaven through works and they sold "indulgences" to people to buy souls out of purgatory or lessen their sentence (which isn't bibical). He translated the bible into the common language at the time so they everyone could read it, not just the members of the clergy. Read Ephesians 2:8-9.
Absolutely beautiful... this is what I call great gospel singing. "and when I think, that God His son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarse can take it in; that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, he bled and died to take away my sin!" What great text!!
God, if he even exists, can't read the stitches on the modern fastball. But, Christian music is sure beautiful. I mean, music like this, not the stuff you hear on gospel radio stations. Christian rock music...ugh...and ugly.
Hi, you don't seem to be sure that God exists... please listen to all the segments here from Kurt Cameron and Ray Comfort. They prove (even without the Bible) that God exists!
There is not one shred of provable, scientific evidence for the existence of God. Socrates said that when people cease the worship of a god, then that god no longer exists. They made him drink the hemlock for that heresy. At least they didn't burn him at the stake. Followers of Jesus perfected that method. Say that "Jesus is Lord", Buster, or we'll roast you.
Catholics r christians but when htey burned people at the steack htey thought they were doing them good they thought they were clesing there body of evil. i am not saying what they done was right but things were different back then
The Catholic Church is leading more people to hell than any other "Christian" church...they think they can work their way to heaven...but the scriptures teach that salvation is by faith alone in Christ and his substitutionary death on the cross.

May our wonderful God bless you all and give you the strength and faith to walk the path that He has chosen for you in your life, in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. One day we will all meet Him in His glory, until then take care and goodbye.
