Demon Hunter to me is THE BEST band in the world because, they christian Metal, no cussing, can make out what they are saying, and everybody in the band is an actual good christian.

God is said to be a actual real being who is in a sense like a person. He is real and will have a relationship with us, just like you can have a relationship with a human friend- but if that was true, why do people have totally opposite ideas in regards to what his will is, and what his views on things are? This leads me to believe God is all in the human mind. If he was a real being then everyone would know God's view on all topics-- just like you know a friends views.But it is not so.

I have the spirit of truth in me and my mom has the spirit of truth in her however, she thinks this band is satanic while I believe they are a christian band and rep God. In essence we both know the truth but have different views on certain issues reguarding what is true. My solution is to seek God for yourself in the name of Christ and He will reveal truth to you. Do it in faith expecting to receive from God as He ONLY responds to faith. Hope this helps !

It's a hard fact to accept. But I fear that God's wrath on sinners is part of reality. He is a God of love and of second chances, but if you dont accept Him, you are subject to fate. You must be born again or your fate belongs to the world. The way out is like accepting the winning lottery ticket. Just say yes to God and he picks you up out of it and your eternity is sealed and your life on earth accounts for more than you ever thought it could. I'd say that's a pretty good trade. :)

@jediknight28 we have opposite ideas because a lot of people who believe in god preach hate and condemnation of others like they have the right. if god created all beings without flaw then homosexuality, transgenderism, sexuality are not sins. married men cheat on their wives but we allow it as long as they pray. a happy gay couple raises morally grounded children, never break the law, never rape or hurt anyone and yet they are treated like they are ungodly. people paint a picture 4 others.

The people who preach hate, or even mild biased views, are biblical. Gay people who call themselves christian are not christian according to the bible. The opposite ideas are unbiblical, thus should be dismissed, although, the more tolerate worldview is more kind.

What evidence, other than what you just said, is there? There is not tons of evidence at all. If God exists, who created him? Has he just always been? There are, in case you didn't know, other ways to evaluate whether God is real or not-- thorough reasoning we can find some answer whether someone else thinks it's correct or not.

I think that The meaning of this song is about punishing, not sinners in general, but sinners who have died unforgiven, and have rejected Christ. So I think this song might be based on Revalations (probably spelled that wrong... Teehee)

It's a hard fact to accept. But I fear that God's wrath on sinners is part of reality. He is a God of love and of second chances, but if you dont accept Him, you are subject to fate. You must be born again or your fate belongs to the world. The way out is like accepting the winning lottery ticket. Just say yes to God and he picks you up out of it and your eternity is sealed and your life on earth accounts for more than you ever thought it could. I'd say that's a pretty good trade. :)

I just think that it's disturbing how a christian band would make this kind of a song. I hope that these aren't the kind of Christians that say that God hates gays and other sinners. Jesus said that he came for the sick, not the well.

@perfectshot35 Oh dear no sweetie! Only those wrapped up in their own piousness say crap like that. This band sings about spiritual battles and things like that. God loves sinners! That's why he sent His son down here to suffer and die. So we wouldn't have to. Any Christian who hates is not in God's will. I'm not saying they're not Christians, but they are not being disciples, but Pharasees and as I recall, Jesus wasn't very nice to the Pharasees was he!

We were created to be loved and to love, but what good does it do to create a creature that is programmed to love you? It's not sincere and no good. It's our choice and it means everything to God the Father. We're at war with this world but we got a lotta back up. The world is the bad guy, not God. He's the way out of the evil that destroys every aspect of our lives.

@perfectshot35 Because wen Adam and Eve sinned, it released sin and death into the world. Satan had a foot in the door. When we sin, we buy our ticket to hell. But the way out is so easy. Just put our lives in God's hands. Sure we're gonna screw up. Christians are no better than non Christians. The difference is, we're forgiven because God's own son was the sacrifice for every man's sins on the earth forever. BUT one has to accept that, otherwise we still belong to the world, which will burn.

The truth comes in like a flood and the heart is full. God adores us, but He's not gonna force Himself into our hearts. He'll poke at us to try to get our attention, but what good does it do to love something that doesnt have the choice to love you back? He gives us children to demonstrait how He feels about us.

@jediknight28 - Actually - They are very closely related to both... His screaming is clearly hardcore, but the instruments are more metal based... Which in my eyes classifies them as Metalcore.... So they are actually both genres all while staying Christian. This is what makes Demon Hunter so fucking awesome!

As well...Music is very powerful believe it or not, some songs can change a person. Look up the song by Underoath "Some will seek forgiveness, others escape" the message is very moving for me, and hopefully for others too.

agreed! It's so frusterating when people say the type of music I listen to is "demonic" or "evil" or "wrong" and that I shouldn't be listening to it, cause it's a "bad influence". Honestly! Bands like demon hunter, as I lay dying, or august burns red are proof that God can be glorified in anything. Now, different people connect with God in different ways, but this is the way that I do and other do, its not demonic or evil!

I personally think it's demonic, and unhealthy, but I don't go around telling people not to listen to it. I'm very much into music, but my values and tastes are different... I do hope that people who don't know Christ and listen to Demon Hunter do come to know God and Christ and come to accept salvation, but I don't support them.
