  • this must have been such a hard episode to film...far too close to the reality of what happened.

  • My Sweetie is inconsolable. Thanks for posting all the same!

  • @spoonido Cleggy is a sweetie; that's why I love him. And from what I've heard, Peter Sallis is a sweetie in real life too.

  • I will miss Compo in the show.

  • Poor gleggy Am sure peter sallis was ready to break into tears when he was readinbg that letter am sure he will live on to do LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE and many other things he is a brill actor....

  • @residentevil4ish yeah, poor Cleggy :(

  • Which Episode did Foggy Die in they never did a video bout him dying like Compo cause Foggy was a great Actor in LOTSW. BUt Still luv Compo iam very much like compo its the truth guys same hight is him so I know Alot about Compo..

  • Foggy didn't die on Last of the Summer Wine he just left the show.

  • @SuperNikki1 Roy expected that Brian would come back at some point and resume his role as Foggy. If they knew Brian would never return they would have given him and his character a better send-off.

  • @SuperNikki1 technically he was kidnapped by the woman postie and taken to blackpool

  • @SuperNikki1

Foggy's son, (Brian Wilde in real life) Andrew Wilde, was the editor of the series from the mid 1990s until the end.

  • I almost broke into tears when he read the letter from compo. R.I.P COMPO

  • R.I.P KATHY STAFF

  • I find myself watching over and over again.

  • Thanks LOve this show
