Basically, you have to treat it like your bitch and pry until it breaks off. There is a smaller, but much cooler looking flash hider underneath it that covers the actuall threads for barrel extensions. Don't make the mistake of trying to torque it off, cut it, or you'll screw stuff up.

do NOT get this gun buy the echo 1 version i got a mp5 a5 version and it fell apart it has nylon brushings(thats BAD you want metel brusings) the gears are cheap aluminum the motor gearhead disinagrated the hop-up broke the magazine is wobbly and constantly missfeeds the wiring is bad and strips the wires fast unless you move then ( mine just died so get echo 1 version 5$ more but it

is alot better buy echo one!!!! if you must have this gun go with echo 1!
