  • It is a sad day. I can have been blocked from putting comments on Gregs video's, but not Janets. Alas she will become the next victim of my poor humor and jokes.

  • @captjack5169 I can care less about her. it's on her if she can't tell he's a fake loser with no skills

  • @skymilesdc5

    Agreed

  • I think the better word for Non-Master Park is Poser. He obviously feels that to appear to be a Korean Ninja Master is enough and everyone should take his word for regardless of the display of his lack of skill and that of his student Janet. I have been taught that calling out another martial artist is dis-honorable, but Greg is no Martial Artist. He belongs on the 700 club next to Pat with his hand on some poor smohs head scream you are healed by the power in me, hallelujah.

  • Please try again!

Maybe you can cut 8 times because your skill go hight by lesson in Japan.

  • @HouzanSuzuki I will soon

  • @skymilesdc5

Please keep the next rule in the time.

If you make it so, it become an unofficial new world record.

Please pay attention to material of a tatami mat, position of string and the diameter of rolled mat.

  • music fits perfectly..

  • wondering why you didn't use a vacume?

  • @TheRichsalley I had to sweep up the big pieces so can I use the vacuum cleaner to pick up the smaller pieces. the bigger pieces get caught in the rollers .

  • best part? 1:17 Love how you sliced through that mat and it splintered into tiny pieces. That was awesome!

  • @tahtunka08 the cut went right though each piece of free standing straw without disturbing the mat and knocking it over. it was awesome.

  • @skymilesdc5 You must have had a *really* sharp sword and *really* good form to accomplish this. Just saying lol. I enjoy watching your vids. I am hoping to get a katana myself and to practice Iaijutsu from the book "Flashing Steel"

  • @tahtunka08 the sword was not that Sharp. I have a sword that is way sharper then that one. it's best to find someone with experience to help you use the sword correctly. Books are only good for reference

  • @skymilesdc5 hahaha My apologies then for mistaking that the sword was sharp. You just had awesome form then lol. I realize that books can only teach someone so much. Unfortunately I do not posess the funds nor the time due to college and the possibility of moving from my current residence to go to a dojo. Perhaps in the future I will find a dojo but I thank you for your advice.

  • @tahtunka08 no biggie, thats was a cheap 40$ sword. now i do have a katana that can slice a card on the thin side (i think the video is up)...... I think college is way more important than learning swordsmanship, that can always be done later.

  • @skymilesdc5 I plan on getting the bamboo musashi from swordNarmory. I read some pretty good reviews it. I am also interested in the aspect of creating a katana from forging to polishing. Wow on the thin side? That's amazing! I will try to find that vid. I saw one vid of a katana slicing a few rounds from a 50 cal machine gun. Oh yes college is more important as it will probably lend me the opportunity to learn swordsmanship when I have a career with money coming in lol!

  • @tahtunka08 bullets are made from lead, lead is soft metal. The musashi bamboo was used to cut the card. I got it from trueswords for 60$ when they have the monthly super sale.

  • @skymilesdc5 Yeah lead is incredibly soft and one of the few metals to reach melting point by simply heating the material over a campfire. The katana held up fine to the 9 mm pistol but the 50 cal obliterated the blade after...7 hits I think? I originally looked for the bamboo musashi at trueswords but sadly they don't have paypal. That's awesome you could cut the card with that sword.

  • @tahtunka08 the shockwave from the 50 caliber pretty much destroyed the sword . I use to use pay pal until got burned on ebay by them

  • @skymilesdc5 Yeah the velocity was too much for the sword unfortunately but still pretty cool it could split bullets. I am sorry to hear of your experience with paypal. I have been burnt on ebay as well. Purchasing items over the web is getting more and more treachorous anymore.

  • @skymilesdc5 60$ dollars is a great deal for that sword. I love trueswords monthy super sale on their throwing stars

  • @supergamerman100

I was eating my cereal when I read this you ass. +1 for the above comment.

  • @captjack5169 what??

  • @tahtunka08 That was pure skill he displayed, I seen a few other skilled people can do this. I seen him split a business card with a different sword on the thin edge of the card. now thats a sharp sword.

  • @Kungfumastertraining thanks, but im still learning and have much more to learn.

  • you should keep trying, i think you can get it

  • @Zimtack yup 6 more than greg will ever have lol

  • Nice Jass bro! LOVE that song!

  • Very impressive sir..

  • ninjas got a nice fireplace

  • @evolusean thanks, but im not a ninja, LOL

  • Wow... quite good. Can't do this, still trying and failing

  • im a little OCD but 1:18 makes me wanna cry lol

  • @D0wnt0wnCl0wnyBr0wn it was a one inch slice that cut all the loose ends, and i was like "danm i got to clean that later" LOL

  • omg i do like this video! thanks for showing me this! this is so cool

  • I would like to see how Greg would try to do that :P

  • @OrochimaruSama6 i've been waiting over a year for that.

  • lol i bet its a pain to clean all that up from the carpet.

  • @sonohkong yeah, it was a little tricky but the good old broom did come in handy

  • I must say, very impressive ^.^ My own record is only 4 cuts. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up to you soon!

  • @jacob33kim im pretty sure you can because 4 is danm good, so far i can only match with mochi san by informal rule (because sword is not nihonto) but now a days i have to train with my japanese teacher so when i go back to japan he will be more stricter on me.

  • @jacob33kim you got greg beat by 4 cuts Lol. i can only do 3 on a good day

  • @skymilesdc5 sorry about that

  • @Taud sure, anyone can do better then greg

  • That's awsome skill!!

  • @DaDaoChen thank you, but im still an amateur in training. you have awesome cuts too (^__-)b

  • nice techniquie

  • who the hell!

  • @skymilesdc5 im getting tired of blocking strange people

  • From 1:47 is really great too.

That Korean Idiot must try this underarm cutting(Zato-ichi cut).lol

  • Also next is nice too!!

    watch?v=hxN3ap_2mpQ

  • Wait...ignore that last comment, that was supposed to be for another channel....good job anyway:)

  • @BuddhaZenMind no biggie....have an good one (^___^)/

  • Comment removed

  • @BuddhaZenMind give it a try for yourself.

  • That's such an excellent video

  • very nice work

  • If you get 8 I will send you a vacuum cleaner as a prize!

    Well done sir! Very Impressive!

  • @lupocephalic thanks, but i already have one

  • @skymilesdc5

Hmm ... Well ... I suppose will send you more tatami then.

    Seems a practical gift.

  • Good cuts!

  • @Toxination1 thanks, i had a lot fun cutting with this one, then all the fun ended with cleaning up the big mess i made (~_~')

  • Anyway,

This one video has value of 1000 times than 1000 of nothing value videos such as shit by Chosonninja.

  • @HouzanSuzuki true, still was tough to pull off, i know chosonninja can't do 2

  • Nice better than I can do. Then again I never Really tried doing it yet.

  • Sky san,

___I intend to make video about "Suegiri"rule applied to Guinness for formally. Please wait a few days.____

    I Made. please watch.

  • That was totally amazing! ...and I like how you do you own osoji afterwards.

  • @erniesbudolab thanks, im pretty handy with the broom LOL.

  • @skymilesdc5 Broom-waza was my first lesson :D

  • @erniesbudolab LOL.

  • good cutting!

  • Sky san,

    ____was 7 the world record?

Yes, But your video of this time, Pretty difference exists in the "tool" which you used "if I say strictly"

Again it is "If I say strictly"

The point most different from "Formal rule" is tatamimat using.

Perhaps tatamimat which European and American people are using is made in China.

It has about "only half hardness" than made in Japan.

I intend to make video about "Suegiri"rule applied to Guinness for formally. Please wait a few days.

  • stylish and effortless. Great work, Sky!

Haha, how long did it take to clean up?

  • @MarvelmeetsManga thanks, it took forever to clean LOL

  • your the real afro samurai, that was danm good dude

  • I'm really enjoying watching your videos. Its great to see you push your skills to the limits. That many cuts on a free standing mat is most impressive to keep control of the cut, and the angle without tipping it off balance.

If you have time. I'd love for you to do a close-up of the blade you are using so I can see what edge geometry and thicknesses you blade has that is performing so well.

Much Appreciate you sharing your talents.

  • @knivesandstuff sure, it's one of those cheap musashi rosewood katana you can pick up for about 50$

  • haha dude i feel your pain, once i cut a phone book in half with mine...so many pieces of paper :( also isnt that a world record? idk that 4th cut counts. if you were aiming to do it like that then you could have shaved someones 5 oclock shadow with that cut. great work also showing you trying to put the tatami mat up like that shows people how hard it is to get it to stand up, so cutting it takes alot of skill. also to show that there isnt any sort of stick or rod holding it in place

  • @bobsamurai yeah, clean up was a pain. the 4th one did count, it was just a thin 1cm gap so it's ok.

you're right, i wanted to show that part of the video to show it is not a trick, so if i filmed it already standing up people will think it's a rod or something holding it up.

  • Sky san,

Please do not put back my(from 04review) Post done spam.

Because people interested in the sentence that were done spam by all means.

    (^___^)

  • Yes sir. 7th is world record. When "one rolled of tatami mat (not less than one rolled)" fell down, "the cut" is recognized as failure. Therefor, your last is considered to be failure. In this case is 7 cut. Also the fourth cut, there is problem a little. But it was not big problem, because you cut at 5, 6, 7. We can see you are "almost the same as a world record (7 cut)" Maybe you will completely cut it "8" if do it sometimes. Btw, Greg will spam my this comment. lol.
  • @HouzanSuzuki Lol I think he did!

  • @TeHGoodReverend

Yep I think he is frustrated and he get mad.

    Btw,

I am worried what kind of throwing video I should present for this great achievement by Sky san, of this time.

Huuuuum. It is a difficult theme for me!!

Because It will be rude for Sky san, if it isn't the great skill.

    Huuum.

    ___

  • @HouzanSuzuki I am no expert of ShurikenJutsu, but I have a suggestion...why not combine the video you made where you threw a shuriken through the hole of a disk and the candle? Try putting out the fire and getting the shuriken into the disk's hole? ^_^

Also Choson's latest video is...wow just stupid. He tries to say Kukai was Korean because of his Otomo clan ties...yet the Otomo clan's heritary land is in Kyushu...not Baekje(as he tells in his lie of a video).

    - Rev

  • @TeHGoodReverend

I think that it isn't impossible to put in DVD hole after having deleted flame of candle.

I will have to test about position of two object a little.

    Thank you for suggestion.

    Btw, Japanese Kukai mean next.

    "Do you eat?" 食うかい?

    lol

  • @HouzanSuzuki i think he already did.

  • @skymilesdc5 Ugh his latest video is just...wow is he ok in the head? According to Greg Kukai had Korean ties because of his Otomo clan affiliation...yet the Otomo Clan's heriditary land is Kyushu, not Baekje(as he he says in his lie of a video) whats funnier is his source DOES NOT say what he is saying...he is just adding information he sees fit.

  • @TeHGoodReverend yeah i saw, crap as always, i notice he censor HouzanSuzuki for speaking the truth here.....what a loser.

  • @HouzanSuzuki yeah, i was worried about the 4th cut because it seemed to be a 1cm cut so i didnt know it counts or not

  • @MrM00Mz LOL, too bad my vacuum can't pick up the big pieces (~_~')

  • @skymilesdc5 I have this As-Seen-On-TV sweeper. its lots of little Rubber pieces instead of a normal broom.. They are Cheap, and it really works for grabbing the stuff into a pile you can move.

  • GREAT 7 CUT!!!

I tell to Mr.Machii about you!

    The final scene was heartwarming.

    __

  • @Houzan04Review was 7 the world record?

  • Awesome sky! 8 cuts as apposed to 4 last time

  • @deadlywithguitar thanks, i knew i could have done better.

  • @skymilesdc5 You matched the world record!

  • @deadlywithguitar if thats the case.....thats awesome!

  • :O!

  • @TeHGoodReverend (~_^)b

  • @skymilesdc5 You are truly gifted in the art of the samurai sword...

As a lover of martial arts I can see the beauty in every move...in every stance, even in every breath! And what I saw here ranks high up there :*).

    - Rev

  • @TeHGoodReverend thank you, it takes hard work and training with a real teacher, not "natural" made up movments learned from watching a video.

  • That 4th cut looked like you cut off the heads of about 1000 flies all at the same time! Lol.

  • @reginaninja LOL. it took a 1000 sweeps of my broom it clean it
