  • I dunno....that looks like South Carolina, not Georgia. Or North Carolina. Whichever damn Carolina he says he's from Lord knows I can't keep em straight...

Someone needs to do a crossover with Rhode Island and Jack Sparrow's 'Where has the Rum gone?!'

  • Awesome-lee!!!

  • YES!!! i wanted to do something like this so i typed it in to see if anyone had, and im so glad you did!!

  • Bloody Brilliant!!

  • I just discovered this movie, and Im blockbustering it for sure now. I love american history.

  • Hilarious.

  • Damn it mr adams!

  • so just for clarification: devil=rutledge and dicksonson (awesome!) johnny=adams and jefferson fiddle of gold=martha jefferson (wtf? lol) land owning republican-ish dudes=demon band

fabulocity!!! i LOVE this song and 1776!!!!

  • I've always been a huge fan of the movie. But you haven't lived until you've seen the musical live. My best friend played the role of Edward Rutledge from South Carolina and sang the song "Molasses to Rum". Brought me goose bumps every night. The show is so great to see live. Do it, folks! You won't regret it!

  • Mr. Jefferson's wife is a shiny fiddle made of gold? Lol If you say so ;D

  • BRAVO!!!

  • I've watched less than a minute and I'm already impressed

  • The thing was that South Carolina was the deciding vote, because whatever South Carolina did North Carolina would second, and south carolina wanted slavery, but john didn't, but actually in the end they added it in the system of laws.

  • Wow, that was good!!! I saw some clips that were not in the movie, what are they? And were did you get them? i would love stuff like that!!!

  • @natlexx28 They were all in the movie, but sometimes it is edited on TV. It's on the DVD.

  • Having a soft spot for both musicals AND American history I must now see this movie!

  • @mecampbellesq

Believe me, it will not disapoint.

  • Oh my god! I love you!

  • I logged in just to give it five stars... nice job!

I just went to see the movie at the Egyptian Theatre last night and finally saw the uncut version (the song "Cool Considerate Men" was originally removed at the request of President "Tricky" Dick Nixon himself to the producer). The director was in the audience and thanked everyone for keeping this alive. I think these videos help that along as well, so thanks... and Happy Independence Day!

  • yeay South Carolina is the devil and john adams is Johnny

  • But...I thought Thomas Jefferson was Johnny, since he actually PLAYS the violin.

  • haha true.. i could see that...
