I dunno....that looks like South Carolina, not Georgia. Or North Carolina. Whichever damn Carolina he says he's from Lord knows I can't keep em straight...
Someone needs to do a crossover with Rhode Island and Jack Sparrow's 'Where has the Rum gone?!'
so just for clarification: devil=rutledge and dicksonson (awesome!) johnny=adams and jefferson fiddle of gold=martha jefferson (wtf? lol) land owning republican-ish dudes=demon band
I've always been a huge fan of the movie. But you haven't lived until you've seen the musical live. My best friend played the role of Edward Rutledge from South Carolina and sang the song "Molasses to Rum". Brought me goose bumps every night. The show is so great to see live. Do it, folks! You won't regret it!
The thing was that South Carolina was the deciding vote, because whatever South Carolina did North Carolina would second, and south carolina wanted slavery, but john didn't, but actually in the end they added it in the system of laws.
I logged in just to give it five stars... nice job!
I just went to see the movie at the Egyptian Theatre last night and finally saw the uncut version (the song "Cool Considerate Men" was originally removed at the request of President "Tricky" Dick Nixon himself to the producer). The director was in the audience and thanked everyone for keeping this alive. I think these videos help that along as well, so thanks... and Happy Independence Day!
