i have both the tan tien and the vendetta, which is a good thing and a bad thing cause i don't know what to ride sometimes. the vendetta is a great board for down hill, it's SUPER FAST!!! and for sliding, it's also my go to board if i'm going long distance. i use my tan tien when i wanna carve and want to ride a lighter board, the tan tien feels more lively than the vendetta due to the flex, but the vendetta feel real solid and more stable. if you can afford it i'd get both you won't regret it

@FckedUpFingers Vendetta is for freeride and tantien is for freestyle, they really different boards. if you like freeride, get the vendetta and if you like freestyle get the tantien. I have a vendetta and freestyle on it is really tiring because it's so heavy and it dosen't have flex, so landing tricks isn't as smooth. The mellow tails aren't as big as you think, they're barely kicked up but the concave is sweet. I say go with the tan tien because it's more all around.

@360freakazoidguy I mean they are kiiiiinda alike in the sense that they have tails and are symmetrical, but the vendetta is a lot hevier, bigger!, and the tails are about half the size abd do not curve up as much as a tan tien. the vendetta is more of a freeride/slide board that can also do some freestyle tricks. The tien is more of a board that does it all except heavy downhill of course. So if your looking for a board like the tan tien get the tn tien or the apex:)) hope that helped:)

@QUABEnCARL Lol wtf r u talking about the vendetta isn't a dh board nor is the tan tien. The vendetta is really only meant for light bombing. I have a vendetta and it's awesome for sliding and tricks, just so crazy. If you're learning to board I'd get something stable though...like a landyachtz switch. The switch is pretty much the best board to learn on.

For me this is my tan tien and for quabe its his Vendetta:)

@QUABEnCARL I feel that the tails on the Tan Tien are overkill. The concave is mellow compared to the Vendetta. Wheel base is waaay to short for anyone with a wide stance. The only place the Tan Tien excels in is Flex. I do like the looks though.

And the tan tien does not need a big concave. that is not what it is made for. plus I can slide much better on my tan tien than quabes vendetta. And if your a big person this is not the board for you. Its impossible to make a perfect board because someone will always complain, too big of tails? crazy talk you can put your foot on half of the tail if you would like:p
