Does the club have sound restrictions? That would help the situation. Most SCCA regions now own Decibel Meters and require that cars not emit more than a certain dB at a certain distance. A typically restrictive level would be something like 90 dB at 75'.
Best to work together. The club hosting these events should seek out the residents. The residents concerned about sound should seek out the club.
You do know this video is linked to a group trying to get rid of NJMP because of sound...they live next to an airport but want the track gone. finally something positive in Millville and these weenies want it gone. the track brings a positive economic impact to the area.
That is very unfortunate. I hope they don't get their way. The Corvette in this video is the loudest car I have ever heard. Not all race cars are that loud.
