You know i have seen that one time before...my dad, cousin, and I was at a lake on our hunting club. My dad was using a 5 inch ZOOM rogue lure. He hooked about a 2lb bass and was pulling it in when we seen something chasing it. When we got it to the boat and lifted the small fish out of the water the big bass came clear out of the water after it. He had the entire smaller fish in its mouth. but he slipped off and went back under the water...it was crazy

Hey, don't worry about it! I've had the same thing happen to me, too. I believe I was vertical jigging a yellow senko worm, and I hooked a tiny Bluegill / Panfish. Before I knew it, a Largemouth that was AT LEAST 5-6 lbs. came and took the ENTIRE fish off the hook!!

Happened to me on our local lake. Paralleling a chunkrock bank with a spinnerbait and hooked one about 8-10 inches long and a bigger fish from underneath swooped in and tried to inhale them both.  Unfortunately, the bigger fish didn't catch the single hook of the spinnerbait so I didnt catch him. I'd throw on a top water plug in that pond if I were you.

Aw man you blew it, big time lol. I would get a 2x4 and paint some eyes on it, put about 9 treble hooks on it, get you a real rod, then fire that sumbitch about 25 feet past the other side of the lake and drag it into the water then you'll see some results.
