Why would you get a 2.5" DP and a 3" exhaust? Stupid.

its nearly impossible to clear a 3 inch DP on a sentra because of the alternator being in the way.

Protech engineering makes 3" downpipe, fits just fine. I got 2.5" dp, because it came with the turbo kit.

is there a big power difference between cutout open and closed?

depends on exhaust, if you are using stock exhaust which is 1.8" than about 20-40whp..
