  • dance conspiracy - dub war

  • good to have good sex,and smoke a joint after

  • Dam. I am really starting to question Hip Hop Producer creativity at times. Some of it is genius to take a sample and flip it. Others are just outright thievery.

  • @palmares77 you do know hiphop was started just rapping over old soul records idk why people are suprised that was the bases of hiphop

  • @dmdpro5 Correction. That wasn't how Hip Hop started, the culture started way differently than what u stated.

  • @ChazSupreme Then how will you correct him? It's not a correction if you just say that he's wrong.

  • @OrmTostesson Does it really matter? Wrong/correction? Shit I'm surprised when people are coherent on the internet. I corrected his sentence by saying the culture started differently. It's upto him to find that out, we're in the information age and I'm sure he can find out for himself what's up ;)

  • @manaraver Masters at Work - Blood vibes or Justa a little dope blood vibes

  • @manaraver i've been lookin for that very track myself for years. The one i heard was on a tape of Grooverider around the time you mentioned. If you have any luck let me know and vice versa ;)

  • @sweetassnumba7 From what i've read it's just samples from exactly this track played at 45' instead of 33.

Search for Justa "Lil" Dope / Our Mute Horn from Masters at Work (though the track i remember not exactly that one). Anyway, perhaps it exists only in mix tapes

  • Great post. This group has a lot of gems hence its so mystery why the great Public Enemy sampled them.

  • 1&True Love

    Big Up for this post

  • had to backtrack the sax loop to find out what song it came from;

my search went like this: Jay-Z - show me what you got(2006)<-- Wreckx-n-Effect - rump shaker(1992)<--Public Enemy - show em what you got (1988)<<--Lafayette Afro Rock Band - Darkest light (1975) form Shaft in Africa.

As I expected the original piece is nothing short of awesome!!!!

  • Public Enemy - "Show 'Em Watcha Got", whish is why Jay-Z called his "Show Me Watcha Got". Pretty clever, Jigga!

  • No. Show whatcha' got is Shaft in Africa lick for lick for like the first 8 bars and Just blaze on youtube frontin' like he really "produced' the record when dude just played the same drums on the top of the sample...Hillarious...and the babies "eat" that shit...lol.

  • @dizpatso nothing clever about biting from anyone and everyone.

  • Also sampled by Wreckx-N-Effect: "Rump Shaker" and N2Deep: "Back to the Motel."

  • LUV

  • first sampled by Public Enemy: for the S1W dance lol

  • This is sampled on Badman's song "war in 94"

  • Respect my yout for posting up, bless.
