James Moody was one of those few people who made me hug my flute and connect with it as an extension of my soul when I was studying... he and Rampal inspired me to spend 400 straight days, an hour plus every single one, getting my intonation absolutely perfect regardless of passage... and to likewise find, in my cheap old artley, its own soul and make it sound better than most of the silver and gold tossed around with the richer kids... Of course I upgraded, too, but you never forget your first.
Absolutely brilliant!

On Moody's album "Heritage Hum" his version of "Here's That Rainy Day" is titled "Rainy Days".
